I was driving on driver assistance mode. Instead of following the curve to my left-hand side, the car drove off the road and hit a power line pole on the passenger side. The car was totally destroyed. I reported to the company and asked for an investigation about the incident, but I was told that they couldn’t get the car and investigate it. I think for the driver assistance function, similar to autopilot function, the company should have remote monitoring and collect the data automatically in order to make sure and improve its safety and reliability.

Excessive steering wheel vibration after the software update. Mercedes main office in Georgia was notified and they instructed there is a fix after I threatened the lemon law. Time on dash will read random times, then will fix itself. Air conditioner will not run cold to drivers side.

Steering wheel vibrates uncomfortably and appears to lose steering effectiveness when the car goes over road irregularities when driving at moderate to high speeds. Irregularities experienced include driving over cross joints, bumps or dips on the road, and poorly repaired road surfaces. The sensation is disturbing and feels unsafe. The vibrations last for a few seconds each time. There are no warning signs or signals while this is happening. The vehicle is less than a year old and it has been doing this for a few months now. First time I felt this issue the car had approximately 3,100 miles. I made an appointment to take it to the dealership for it’s first 10,000 mile maintenance and will request to have this issue inspected.

At speed above 55mph , the steering wheel shakes in an abnormal and unsafe manner while traveling over a bump. This seems to be a manufacture defect and recall would be ideal. This seems to be an issue with all this model of the vehicle.

Since I purchased this vehicle 2.5 months ago, the windshield wipers started chattering/making noise and not working properly after about 2 days. I brought the car in and the dealership replaced the wipers. The chattering started again shortly after, then the dealership polished the windshield. It worked well for about 2-3 weeks and now the wipers are starting to streak and chatter again. I have a third appointment to have the windshield re-polished and wipers replaced, again. I have no faith this will fix the issue since its been done before. I see that this is a common issue with this brand/model.
