  • 2026 MERCEDES-BENZ C 300 4MATIC
    - Chappaqua, NY

I acquired a Mercedes-Benz C300 from Mercedes-Benz of White Plains at [XXX] [XXX] on the last day of XXX Within 2 days of the car sitting in my driveway, I took it out for a drive; the electronic systems failed while I was driving on the highway. The speedometer and odometer went dark, and the turn signals stopped working. Blind Spot Warning, All electronics. I immediately return the vehicle to the dealership. One of the technicians and the manager acknowledged that not only do they see it because it’s still current, but they’ve had similar issues before. They would attempt to repair it with some software updates. In that same conversation, they acknowledged again that this problem had happened before in different capacities. The dealership still has the car 23 days later. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I get a message saying "Active Parking Assist and PARKTRONIC Inoperative See Operator's Manual" every time I start the car. Then when going through a car wash, PARKTRONIC cannot be switched off any more as part of the "Car Wash Mode" (that also folds the rearview mirrors and shuts the windows). So the car beeps all the way through the car wash. Then I get random alerts that there is a collision risk when I am parked, or driving at slow speed. It looks like there is a malfunction of one or more parking sensor. It is not too dangerous, just annoying, except when you are driving the car and getting surprising alerts for no reason. The make some jump every time and distracts me from looking at the road. This car has 35,000 miles on it.

  • 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ CLA 250
    - Sonora , CA

My 2021 CLA 250 that I reached purchased as a used vehicle in the last three months and now is saying SOS unresponsive so in my vehicle where to get a motor vehicle accident, it will not be alerting any emergency personnel authorities and I think it’s really sad the whole fact that Mercedes-Benz has just ran you know a bunch of these vehicles through a bin filter and just because mine isn’t on the recall list even though it’s doing exactly what is one of the main major safety recalls. They are not taking responsibility for it and I feel like I should not have to come out of pocket to fix this because my car will not connect to the Mercedes-Benz online won’t connect to Mercedes-Benz so it is just stuck in like an activation loop and the SOS emergency is an operative

  • 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ GLA 250
    - Drums, PA

During an inspection, an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership discovered severe corrosion and perforation, including holes, in the rear subframe of my 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA. There were no warning lights or messages alerting us to the condition before it was discovered. The dealership confirmed that the subframe requires replacement and estimated the repair at approximately $6,000. The vehicle has approximately 140,000 miles. The rear subframe is a structural component that supports suspension components. Its advanced corrosion and perforation create concern that it could weaken or fail while the vehicle is being driven, potentially affecting vehicle stability and control. The vehicle and affected component are available for inspection upon request, and photographs of the corrosion and holes are available. Mercedes-Benz USA was notified of the problem but has not agreed to cover the repair. Mercedes-Benz has issued a 20-year/unlimited-mile extended warranty for corrosion with perforation of rear subframes on several other Mercedes-Benz models, but the GLA is not currently included. I am reporting this because the same type of premature structural subframe corrosion appears to be occurring in this vehicle and may present a safety defect affecting other GLA owners.

  • 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB 250 4MATIC
    - Cleveland, OH

From: [XXX] Phone: [XXX] Email: [XXX] SUBJECT: Vehicle: New Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 VIN: [XXX] Current Mileage: 39,660 Total Purchase Price: $48,450.00 To Mercedes-Benz USA Corporate Management and Dealership Service Director, This letter serves as a formal written statement regarding an ongoing, unremedied mechanical failure that has now escalated into a severe, life-threatening safety hazard. I am officially rejecting the dealership's requests to appraise or trade in this vehicle, and I am demanding a full manufacturer repurchase (buyback) of the vehicle for my purchase price, down payment, finance charges, associated fees and taxes under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Background of Failed Repairs My vehicle has already spent 15 cumulative days out of service for an ongoing engine defect. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership recently diagnosed the vehicle and performed a major cylinder head assembly job/replacement to resolve engine misfires and a persistent Check Engine Light. This defect is well-documented by Mercedes-Benz under its active 15-year/150,000-mile extended warranty program for the M260 engine cylinder head. The Critical Safety Incident Despite the recent cylinder head replacement, the Check Engine Light has returned, signaling a total failure of the repair. More critically, on August 25, 2026 while driving the vehicle, the engine catastrophically stalled without warning in live traffic. Due to the sudden loss of engine power, power steering, and braking assist, I was nearly involved in a severe traffic accident. This vehicle is inherently unsafe, unroadworthy, and poses an immediate danger to myself and others on the road. Formal Demands Immediate Buyback Processing: Because this vehicle cannot be repaired after a major engine overhaul and now actively stalls, I am demanding a full refund of my purchase price, down payment including all associated taxes, fees, and finance charges. • 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ EQB 350 4MATIC
    - Charlottesville, VA

My 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 4MATIC (VIN [XXX]) is subject to NHTSA Recall 26V073 / MBUSA campaign 2026020004 for a high-voltage battery defect that may cause a thermal event/fire while parked or driving. Mercedes-Benz has determined that the permanent remedy requires replacement of the high-voltage battery, but MBUSA has confirmed that a replacement battery is not currently available for my VIN and has provided no firm repair date. Pending repair, Mercedes instructs owners to limit charging to 80% and park outside rather than in a garage or enclosed structure. These restrictions materially impair normal use. My wife's work requires frequent travel between [XXX] and [XXX], plus secure indoor garage parking at federal government facilities. The 80% charge restriction reduces usable range, while the required indoor parking conflicts with Mercedes' safety guidance. MBUSA has also confirmed in writing that my VIN is currently subject to a recall-related stop-sale and that sale restrictions remain until the recall remedy becomes available. An authorized Mercedes dealer has declined to provide a normal trade valuation because of the recall/stop-sale situation. MBUSA reviewed and denied my repurchase request, offering only possible loaner, storage, or rental assistance. I am filing this complaint to document that the permanent safety remedy is unavailable, the interim restrictions materially impair use, and the vehicle is under stop-sale with no firm remedy date. I request that NHTSA review the remedy delay and whether acceleration or other recall action is warranted. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
