The Power steering system on our 2014 Ram is faulty and we were told there is a recall associated with this issue but it does not include our Vin Number. If this is a known issue with the Rams from 2013-2016 why haven't all the models been recalled. As of this time the issue only happens when first starting the truck and then the warning light goes off. We are afraid to drive this vehicle.

My electric power steering rack has failed. The vehicle is very hard to steer and unsafe to drive. I know there was a recent recall affecting 1500 Rams which included my model year of 2014. But my VIN was excluded for some reason. I think the recall should be expanded to include my VIN, as the problem is exactly the same. I have not been in an accident with vehicle - it's just not safe to drive.

ABS module failure. Doesn’t allow traction control, ABS, or cruise control to work. Module was diagnosed bad at dealership and Chrysler can’t get a replacement module manufactured. Have already paid for the module in August of last year and still can’t get one.

Parked my truck and service power steering light came on. Took it to the dealer and they confirmed that it is the power steering control module failed internally. I see that there is a common problem with the same issue, I bought this truck and it only has 37,000 miles on it

The fuel strap rutsted through the frame its a recall on previous years and mine it’s the year after the recall. Yes available upon inspection request my gas tank fell in the middle of me driving down the road at 40 and was putting groves in my drive shaft. I’ve read online a lot of people are having this issue. No warning lights just a terrible sound of the broken strap cutting into my drive shaft.

When I start the engine the power steering light comes on. The steering wheel remains very firm and the wheel can not be turned. After approx 10-15 minutes, depending on how long it takes the vehicle to warm up, the power steering light will go out. At this time the vehicle can be driven and the light has not come back on while driving. There was a former recall on this same type of issue in the past involving the EPS. I have filled out this form before and feel that this is huge safety issue and I believe this warrants another recall. There are several forums online discussing others having this same issue. Thanks
