In the last 12 months my engine began to have a ticking sound which started out as a slight ticking to now a loud ticking sound. I am afraid that it may lose power or fail all together. I could be driving in heavy traffic or cause a chain effect of crashes. This vehicle is my primary "good" vehicle that I drive. I will be taking my truck to the dealer very soon for inspection.

Unable to add fuel from any service station pump without the pump stopping many times. Unable to achieve a full tank of fuel. This is a known issue with Ram trucks and there are many complaints about this issue residing on the internet. This is a very unsafe situation, and the manufacture should correct this issue.

The driver-side seatbelt material ripped in half so there is no longer a seat belt on the driver's side of the vehicle. One week later the passenger side ripped in half in the same spot on the belt. Neither have been repaired or replaced due to lack of money and because there was no accident insurance will not cover them.

Catastrophic failure of the engine. Per dealership investigation, one of the rods broke off the engine. It can be inspected at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Reno, 1050 E Plumb Ln, Reno NV 89502 (775) 501-8593. I was traveling approx. 70mph on [XXX] freeway; terrible banging sound that stopped and lights came on the dash with instruction to shift to P to restart so I knew I had lost power. Fortunately I was on a downhill grade and traffic fairly light. I was able to coast off the freeway and park on a shoulder although braking was impaired and frightening. My life and my son's life and those of people in cars around us were put at risk by this failure. There had been no indications of issues prior to the failure. The truck has had all the required services although I see there are 2 recalls that have not been addressed and I don't understand why since the truck has had multiple services since the recalls; I thought those were taken care of when the vehicle goes in for a service. Power steering was intermittently working for a period of time. One day while driving the power steering failed entirely. Was able to get the vehicle to a RAM dealership where it was confirmed that the entire electric power steering rack had failed and needs to be replaced. Parts are on back order with no anticipated delivery date. Part order was placed a month ago and still no updates.

The rear window is defective from the manufacturer. My vehicle is taking in water from a faulty design where the window drain does work and pushes water back into the vehicle. I have young kids and there is mold everywhere. The MOPAR agent admitted the window is defective but only some of the VINs were offered a free replacement. Clearly, they didn't identify all vehicles because there are numerous complaints on forums and on NHTSA website. Please do the right thing and issue a recall and give your loyal customers their money back for your faulty design. In addition, there is no ETA on the replacement glass which means that this is a widespread issue and MOPAR can't manufacture enough replacement rear windows.

At 36,000 miles the fuel tank no longer would accept fuel. Dealer tried to manipulate fuel nozzle, but still didn't fix issue. I was stranded at gas stations trying to slow feed gas into the tank. I had to dribble in enough gas to make it to the dealer. Ultimate solution was to replace tank (outside of warranty). This was unsafe as I could have been stranded somewhere.
