While I was driving my wife and I heard a sound that was similar to a ratchet strap being run over while attached to a vehicle. Once in my drive way I began to inspect what the noise could have been. After looking underneath my truck I could see my GAS TANK hanging at almost a 45 degree angle. I crawled underneath to see what had happened and found that 1 of 2 fuel tank straps had been ripped out of the frame of the truck. It wasn’t until later that I found a 12 year unlimited mile warranty was available. After speaking to a Ram dealer they informed me that ONLY the fuel straps were covered under the warranty and NONE of the damages that occur from their flawed and failed design are covered under that and if I want it covered then I would have to file a claim with my insurance. Keep in mind the fuel strap itself is only 50$ and that is all that will be covered, not the tank itself, fuel neck, gas lines, or any component of the evap system. So because Ram does not want to pay now I have to and I almost paid in full with my life and my wife’s. I encourage others to keep an eye on this so you don’t fall victim to this scam. It’s nice to know that for almost loosing my life and that of my wife Ram will only cover 50$. How much is your life worth?

Power steering suddenly went out while driving luckily I wasn't on the freeway or in the middle of turning. I had my young daughters in the truck. Service power steering like came on after I lost all power steering. No recalls but Ram has many complaints for this issue. got quoted as the Ram dealer $3100 for just the parts and another $700 for labor for the rack and pinion. Parts on back order so I will be without my truck for over a week with no other means of transportation. I only have 68,000 miles on this truck. Unbelievable that this isn't a recall and Ram isn't covering it. Someone is gonna get seriously injured. VB9/ NHTSA 19E-007 Electronic Power Steering Gear.

My ABS light has been on and when I took my vehicle to the dealership, they said it requires a part that is on back order for almost a year already. My vehicle suddenly comes out of drive while I’m on the road. It’s scary because one minute I’m going 50 miles an hour and then it just turns off. Other times the car does not register my foot on the break when trying to get it out of park to start it. The Dodge dealership says all of these things are related to a bad ABS module which I have been waiting for since December, and they have no idea when the part will be available. I have been on mini Dutch forums and I see that this is an issue across the country

Steering stopped working. There was no accident. Replaced it, but new part still has intermittent steering. No inspection, no warning lights, messages or symptoms before it failed.

Codes c2209-49, c2200-47, u0121, u11bc, u1110, u1412. ABS, traction control, brake and CEL iluminated. No speedometer and no power steering. Codes will not clear. All wheelspeed sensors are operational per scantool in live data mode. Issue not confermed by dealer or independant as the cost is outrageous. And i cannot find a recall to repair issue. These issues i have had since March 2024. Cost for me to repair would be approximately $1200. Safety systems like these should not need a recall they’ve had years to resolve issues with ABS problems. I’m hoping that Mopar sees these issues with other people and has a recall on the problem. My wife won’t even drive the truck.

In January 2023, my 2014 Ram 1500 sport truck got an anti-lock , braking system and Brake light flashing warning ABS lights. I went to the dealer and he said my ABS electronic module was bad and that it was problem with most Ram trucks. I asked when could I get a new module and he said June of 2024. So I went in June and no module. So here I am, driving an unsafe vehicle, and waiting for a part which may never come in. Thanks for listening because this is really a safety issue

The ABS/traction control module is constantly throwing warnings. Took vehicle to dealership. ABS module is bad and needs replacing. Dealership states parts are under engineer review and cannot get any replacement parts or know when they will be available. This is not safe to be driving a large vehicle without ABS/traction control safely working
