Anti-lock Brake System Hydraulic control unit - ABS Pump Motor Control-General Electrical Failure. C006A54 ABS no longer active, no 4x4 for snow travel, no cruise control. Failure occurred before 40,000 miles Failure is intermittent and affected by bumpy road conditions. These symptoms are consistent with the well known stuck motor brush issues. Abs light comes on and disables the cruise controls. Says abs brake failure and I have researched this and found it is a common problem. 6 speed Transmission is turning on check engine light and says gear 5 and gear 6 has improper ratio. Shifts hard into gear5 and won't downshift for passing gear.
