2017 RAM 2500 Complaints

The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

This recall for ABS control module went out just after my warranty expired. My truck is a 2017 with just over 60,000 miles and I am scared to haul trailer as the brakes lock up with sudden stops. Also cruise control and traction control won't work and truck constantly dings all the time to remind me I bought a broken truck that RAM don't fell like they have to fix such a hazardous safety issue

The contact was provided an estimate for the repair, and the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where a diagnostic test indicated a failure with the hydraulic control unit (HCU). Several repairs were performed, but failed to correct the failure. The mechanic replaced the transmission twice; however, the failure returned after each repair. The manufacturer was notified about the failure, and the contact was provided with two case numbers. The vehicle was not repaired and remained with the independent mechanic. The failure mileage was 82,792.

Stellantis cant get the part to fix my vehicle. its been over a year. they keep telling me no fix. This is crazy!!!

At 31,000 mile my horn is no longer working along with my steering wheel controls on the left side of the wheel. Upon researching online it seems these truck have a common issue with clock spring fail. This is concerning because not only does the clock spring provide power to the horn and steering wheel controls, it could also effect the airbag function.

ABS service light and traction control light keeps coming on. I have taken the vehicle to the dealer only to have the code erased and sent on my way because there is no remedy for this recall. This is unacceptable as a safety recall. Im tired of the light and the dinging coming on constantly plus loosing my abs/ traction control. Mopar needs to do better before someone gets killed!!!
