The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lurched forward, and the transmission inadvertently shifted into neutral(N). No warning light was illuminated. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed.     My truck will lose all throttle response and brakes harder to stop accompanied by a service electronic brake system, service electronic throttle control, and electronic traction control warning. It only happens intermittently and sometimes will go a few weeks before doing it again. (The date below for incident is latest date it happened)

After several attempts the cruise control disengaged. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V332000 (Electrical System, Speed Control); but the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 178,000.
