The front suspension bumpstops are falling off of the Ford F53 chassis on many RV's made since 2020.

The electric step on our coach broken on the road with the gear box issue and get loose , it is very dangerous to run with the electric step open to get people injured and also for the people that disembarked from the motor home, we feel that electrical step should have a safety when it is close .

We purchased a 2022 Tiffin Open Rd. allegro motorhome and had the hydraulic pump replaced. The problem. Is that the slides creep out while driving and when the motorhome is parked?

My motorhome was part of the following recall: NHTSA #22V-273. We had that recall work performed during the summer of 2023. The problem that the recall was supposed to address (the hydraulic slide system "creeping out" on it's own) has now re-appeared. Clearly, the fix for this recall is not working. This issue needs to be re-escalated as it's not safe to drive the motorhome with the slides coming out on their own

Shortly following delivery of the motorhome, there appeared a catastrophic crack in the fiberglass on the leading side of the overhead bunk (driver's side). Left unresolved, the primary safety concern is that the crack will expand and, while traveling (especially at higher speed), the top portion of the overhead bunk will separate from the motorhome - putting motorists traveling behind, and anyone then in the overhead bunk, at risk. The motorhome has been inspected by an independent I-CAR Gold Class repair professional and remains available for inspection upon request.

Our unit was recalled previously under recall 22V273000 for the slide creeping out. The RV was supposedly repaired prior to leaving the factory. However, over the summer it began to creep out dangerously while driving. Again it was sent in for repairs and "fixed" Again the slide is moving out 5 or so inches while parked and when driving down the road. I am not sure how far out it would extend if I did not pull over and retract it. It also seems to be happening more frequently and moves out faster.

Slide-out creep of drivers side slide room. Previous recall NHTSA #22V-273, which was “fixed” 7/1/2022-7/6/2022 per this recall. The slide-out creep returned in July 2023. Message sent to Tiffin Motorhomes with in response. Because of medical issues unable to follow up then, but noted numerous complaints on same issue of returning Slideout creep after supposed repair under recall. This is clearly a safety issue as slide may come out while traveling presenting a hazard to motorhome occupants and other vehicles. Also a hazard when it comes out while parked. The slide-out mechanism is manufactured by Lippert Industries.

The coach has developed 5 stress fractures in the fiberglass body in a year of use. I am concerned that coach is at danger of losing part of its body while on the road. The dealer has repaired two of these fractures but three more have rapidly developed. These repairs were completed under Tiffin structural warranty. No warning prior to cracks developing.

Both hydraulic forward slide rooms creep out at will. This unit was purchased new in July 2023 and was in the shop for 3 months having issues addressed. The main issue is that these slide rooms creep/drift out on their own. The dealership says that we don't have the cylinders that were part of a recall. So they bled the existing cylinders and told us to hold the retract button for four seconds after the room slides are retracted which recharges the hydraulic system. We brought the RV home and immediately the slide rooms drifted out on their own. We are afraid to drive this RV any distance because the rooms may slide out on the highway and cause an accident. The maker of the hydraulics (Lippert) plans to replace the hydraulic pump and manifold, but based on other customers feedback...this will not fix the problem. We want to go on record that this should likely be investigated (see Tiffin/Lippert Slide Creep) on Facebook to read other's details. Lippert doesn't seem to have a solution at this point. This is a danger...not to mention a $275K investment that we are afraid to use.

I don’t know if a system failed or malfunctioned, I only know how the system performed under the described conditions. Q. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? A. My safety and the safety of others were put at risk because the vehicle slammed on the brakes causing other drivers to respond to avoid a collision. Q. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? A. Yes/No, the selling dealer have said that they have heard about that happening but if it doesn’t happen while they are driving the vehicle, they can’t do anything about it. Q. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? A. No. Q. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? A. No. See attached file for detailed information. While driving my motor home with the Adaptive Cruise Control on, it will sometimes, unexpectedly, make a beep noise and then slam on the brakes for no known reason. When driving on a highway while using the Adaptive Cruise Control, if my vehicle drifts over the lane marking lines the vehicle makes a noise and slams on the brakes to move the vehicle back into my lane.
