2025 TOYOTA SIENNA HYBRID- Powell, OH
I bought a new 2025 Toyota Sienna Hybrid in Feb 2025 and shortly after, I was informed by letter by Toyota that there was a recall. We were informed NOT to use the second row. (Exactly why we bought a van!) I am STILL waiting for a remedy. Toyota has not offered a rental or any kind of assistance with us being out of a new van for OVER 1 YEAR. I am beyond discouraged and disgusted. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I've had the car in the shop for 3 months plus now. Toyota has not had a remedy for the impacted 55k people. We bought a Hybrid, brand new, paid it off and has been on rental for a non hybrid. Toyota won't trade in our car, refund us anything such as gas ( hybrid vs non hybrid). So we're stuck with a rental we don't like. Basically we felt like we spent $50k on a car we did not want since it's not the Sienna we wanted. I need them to be held accountable or have options we can do something with the car. We have kids that utilized the 2nd row and this is unacceptable.

The second row seat recall has effected us so much, we transport a [XXX] and [XXX] old ( [XXX]) all the time to appts and out to dinner, we are putting them in the 3rd row seats Our dealership told us there were no rentals available when we contacted them. So we have been suffering and my inlaws as well! They are finally fixing some of them, saying it by vin number. From what I can see the are fixing the ones that they are paying for a rentals on first. This is unacceptable. 2025 TOYOTA SIENNA HYBRID- Oakland, CA
We learned that our 2025 Toyota Sienna was recalled as of October 2025. We dropped off our Sienna at One Toyota of Oakland on 10/31/25. We have not heard anything back from them about when the seats will be repaired. We have had a Rav4 in the interim, but the ergonomics of this car are painful for one of the car's users. We purchased the Sienna because of the ergonomics when using the vehicle with our baby. The Rav4 replacement vehicle does not meet the needs for which we purchased the Sienna, yet have had to have a Rav4 since 10/31/2025. We placed a lemon law claim within Toyota internal lemon law department 60 days ago and we were denied on 3/26/26, with the department starting that a remedy will be provided. No other info was provided, nor was a date provided for the repair. It is still unclear when we will get our van back. Other than denying our lemon law claim, Toyota has been completely noncommutative.
