2021 TRIUMPH ROCKET 3 R Complaints

Transmission issues Not related to a quickshifter mine did not come with one. It pops out of gear at low rpms or deceleration which can lead to an accident. In cornering and braking to rapid deceleration for emergency.it just stopped shifting properly one day. I had some voltage problems on the 5v wire all symptoms are fixed except the transmission. Thinking maybe the GPS gear position sensor. Nope pedal is sloppy and needing manual pressure to stay engaged.

-Rear brake pedal travels to the mechanical stop with very little braking effectiveness. The motorcycle is available for inspection. -With the rear brake effectively useless full braking capability is not available. The inability to stop efficiently is absent putting the rider and other motorists at risk. -The motorcycle is currently at the dealer for inspection/repair. The service desk confirmed the rear brake pedal traveled to the mechanical stop with little resistance. -The motorcycle was dropped off at the dealer on 6/24/22. No other agencies have inspected it. -There were no warning lamps or messages. The brake pedal began to "soften" at approximately 2400 miles. -The motorcycle VIN shows no outstanding recalls, including NHTSA Campaign Number 20V740000 however it would appear the problem may still exist.

The contact owns a 2021 Triumph Rocket 3R. The contact stated that fuel was leaking from the fuel tank while riding the motorcycle and, while the motorcycle was stationary. One day after refueling the motorcycle, fuel started spewing out of the fuel tank while riding. The contact then took the motorcycle to a dealer as fuel continued to spew out of the fuel tank. The motorcycle remained in the possession of the dealer but was not yet diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The motorcycle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 500.
