  • 2025 TRIUMPH DAYTONA 660
    - Vero Beach, FL

    The contact owns a 2025 Triumph Daytona 660. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V531000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

  • 2019 TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER 1200 XC
    - Los Angeles, CA

    Catastrophic structural failure of the motorcycle frame. The lower Left Hand Cradle Assembly (Triumph Part # T2071344), which connects the front engine mount to the rear swingarm pivot, sheared completely through. The fracture occurred precisely at the Heat-Affected Zone (HAZ) of the factory weld. This localized metallurgical defect causes a total loss of chassis integrity. A failure of this primary structural component while at speed would result in an immediate loss of vehicle control, leading to a severe or fatal crash. There were no warning lights or operational symptoms prior to discovering the completely severed steel tube during a visual inspection. The failed component is available for physical inspection. The manufacturer (Triumph) has been notified with high-resolution photographic evidence but refused to investigate the defect or authorize a safety replacement without forcing the owner to pay an out-of-pocket dealership diagnostic fee. This specific weld failure is a documented design flaw on this platform, and the manufacturer actively modified this frame component in subsequent model years, indicating prior knowledge of the structural weakness.

  • 2008 TRIUMPH SPRINT ST 1050
    - Colonial Beach, VA

    While traveling at approximately 55 mph under normal road conditions, the rear tire experienced a sudden and catastrophic failure. I felt the tire fail first, followed by an immediate loss of stability. The tire split down the center of the tread without warning. There were no prior symptoms, warning signs, or handling issues before the failure. During the loss of control, I then felt the rear of the motorcycle drop further. After the crash, a rear suspension linkage component was found to be cracked at the mounting point. It is UNKNOWN whether the linkage failure occurred before or as a result of the crash sequence, but it was not felt prior to the tire failure. The tire, 180/55ZR17 73W, had been installed in August and had less than 1,500 miles of use. Tire pressure was set to manufacturer-recommended levels prior to operation. The failed tire is available for inspection, and the damaged rear linkage component remains on the motorcycle. The failure created an immediate safety hazard, resulting in a crash and injuries to a passenger. The motorcycle sustained severe damage and is considered a total loss. No prior warnings, messages, or indicators were present before the failure.

  • 2023 TRIUMPH ROCKET 3 GT
    - Brooklyn, NY

    The contact owns a 2023 Triumph Rocket 3 GT. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the display screen went blank and the motorcycle unexpectedly shut off. The failure caused another vehicle to rear-end the motorcycle's rear wheel, fracturing the license plate. The contact suffered back pains, but no medical attention was received. A police report was not filed. The contact stated that the vehicle had previously had the battery replaced for the same failure, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who determined that the battery wires were loose and the battery needed to be replaced for the second time. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 4,613.

  • 2017 TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER A2
    - Arlington, VA

    The brakes, turn signals, and hazards do not trigger the associated components and the controls for these do not work. The check engine light intermittently comes on and off with these symptoms. The front clutch cable has work through the protective housing at the front of the motorcycle against the electrical components.

  • 2024 TRIUMPH SPEED 400
    - Fuquay Varina, NC

    On 5 different occasions over a period of 6 months the motorcycle has cut off while slowing down or at a stop. Each time it has taken several attempts to get the motorcycle to start again. This has caused extreme risk in traffic. Here are the dates, mileage and description of each incident. 8/10/25, 30 miles - Engine cut off while sitting at stoplight in neutral with no hands on the handlebar. Observed that the kill switch was off even though it had not been touched. 9/2/25, 159 miles - Engine cut off on its own while stopped in culdesac. Kill switch found off again. 12/17/25, 2183 miles - Engine cut off in traffic. Kill switch was off. Trouble starting, took multiple attempts. 12/23/25, 2305 miles - Engine died while going about 35mph when clutch was pulled in to downshift. 3/8/25, 3019 miles - Bike cut off while slowing to a stop, with clutch in, cut off as shifting down to first gear. Took multiple attempts to start again.

  • 2020 TRIUMPH ROCKET 3 GT

The contact stated that the rear brake master cylinder failed to move fluid through the system properly, which required an extended distance to stop the motorcycle. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V730000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC); and associated the failure with the recall; however, after the repair was performed twice, the failure persisted. The dealer was notified of the most recent failure. The motorcycle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,849.

  • 2023 TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER 1200 XC
    - Clermont, FL

    The contact owns a 2023 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC. The contact stated that while riding at various speeds, there was an abnormal squeaking sound coming from the front of the motorcycle. There was no warning light illuminated. The motorcycle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the squeak was coming from the judder spring. The contact was shown a photo of the clutch shaft selection arm. The contact stated that fibers were clinging to the tip of the shaft. The dealer stated that by removing the judder spring, it would repair the motorcycle. Motorcycle. The contact stated that the failure had reoccurred. The motorcycle was not taken back to the dealer. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.

  • 2025 TRIUMPH SPEED 400

    While riding at 15 to 20 miles an hour, the motorcycle engine installed without warning, causing a loss of power. This required an emergency maneuver to avoid being hit from behind. This is a recurring issue documented by the dealer.
