    My vehicle is experiencing the exact failure described in Volvo Recall R89978 (NHTSA Campaign 19V849000), but my VIN is excluded. The door intermittently fails to unlock or latch properly, presenting a major occupant safety hazard. I ask that you expand the recall because my car is obviously affected. It is the passenger side door lock.
