The supposed software fix for the rearview camera not being available did not solve the problem. I’m still getting “Camera is temporarily unavailable.” When shifting into reverse. Vehicle was updated to software version 3.7 and this issue persists.

Volvo xc60 sunroof drains clog and leak. Sunroof maintenance is not mentioned in owner's manual, and dealer does not clear drains during regular service unless specifically asked to. Leak causes damage to electronic systems including airbag system. While any sunroof has the potential to leak, this leak is caused by a design failure - their design makes it easier for debris to ingress into the tracks and clog them. Cost to fix issue and replace sunroof is over $5000. This is a known problem with numerous forums and videos on the internet describing and promoting 'fixes' for, but in reality, Volvo needs to provide a real solution.

I just purchased 2016 VolvoXC60. Looked up ti see 3 recalls it has. I went to Volvo Dealership in Culver City where I was told recalls where taken care of years ago. No recalls exist today? This raises the question if indeed where preformed on my new vehicle and why I submitting my concern to you today. On 9/1/25 while driving 25 mph in the neighborhood the car started shifting very hard. Upon getting back in the driveway and put in park all dashboard light came on. Car would not leave park, parking brake would not work. Windows would not roll down, dash would not turn on, car would not turn off. Got it to the dealership and the told me it was a software update that needed to be done.

The rear two car doors will not open. It started months ago with the left side and now is both doors. This is dangerous if anyone in the rear of the vehicle should need to exit in a timely manner. The dealership knows this is an issue, but says they are not obligated to fix it for free because there isn’t a recall yet.

Vehicle: 2023 Volvo V60 T8. Turn signal failure. About once a week the infotainment system goes black and completely dies while driving, causing the audio in the car to stop working. When this occurs the turn signal is silent when activated. The vehicle uses the speakers to produce the blinker "clicking" noise when actuated, but there is no sound when the infotainment system fails. This causes me to be unsure if my blinker is actually working and possibly increases the risk of crashing, as other around me may be unaware I am turning or merging. Volvo dealerships claim this will be fixed in OTA updates, but my car just received the 3.7.0 software update and the problem still occurs. This has been happening for over one year.

Vehicle: 2023 Volvo V60 T8. The rear camera does not display video while reversing and instead text appears stating "camera is temporarily unavailable". This occurs periodically, sometimes it works, sometimes its does not, and there is no pattern to when it works. This has been occurring for over a year and recently my car received the 3.7.0 software update OTA. After the update the issue is the same with intermittent failures of the backup camera. This software/hardware failure make the car less safe when backing up, especially when reversing out of a tight parking spot or onto a road with fences/shrubs. Volvo dealer keeps saying it will be fixed via OTA updates but that has not worked so far. No other warning lights or messages other than the "camera is temporarily unavailable" in the center display.

Rotor seems to have worn out much quicker than expected. When I break, I can feel certain vibration / bumps. When breaking while going down on a hill, front break also has made screeching noise. Steering feels stiff at times. generally, I have always been topping up gas more than the advertised mileage performance / EPA

While driving the power steering fails. This is after the dealer had installed a software fix for this problem

The contact owns a 2014 Volvo XC60. The contact stated that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. The AWD system light was illuminated, and the message “AWD Disabled” was displayed. The maintenance light was illuminated. Additionally, there was an abnormal knocking sound coming from the front passenger’s side of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where the dipstick and gasket were replaced, but the failure recurred. The dealer provided the contact with the cost for the diagnostic test and the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted by email and mail, but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
