Brakes went out while driving on 77n. In viginia. Once we were anle to get to the side of the road realized we were on fire. Ford dealership determined the fire burnt the brake lines boiling fluid pushing it back through master cylinder knocking out my brakes.

The contact owns a 2021 Winnebago Solis built on a 2021 Ram Promaster Chassis. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V552000 (BACK OVER PREVENTION); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

NHTSA Safety Recall# 26V-016/Winnebago recall 201 was completed on my coach before delivery. The replacement part is falling off, as was identified in the NHTSA recall. The dealer has the coach if additional inspection or information is needed. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to the heater failing. The exact time of failure is unknown, but it was noticed on July 10th, 2026. Talked with the dealer and advised to notify NHTSA regarding recurrence of the issue.

The right side of the forward passenger seat back fell off after a screw came out. The second screw still holding the back of the seat upright was very loose. The left side of the seat bracket screws were also loose. The second passenger seat is wobbly, which looks like the screws holding the back might also be loose. Luckily, this occurred while the vehicle was stationary, and no injuries occurred. The second seat is available for inspection. I have photos showing the issue, and the coach is currently at the dealer for inspection of the second seat. No items were investigated by authorities, and no warning indicators were given. This issue occurred on the 4th of July, 2026.

Check engine light came on with significant loss of power. Poor acceleration. Lack of power resulting in slow speed which created a safety hazard for other traffic. Error code P300478 was confirmed by dealer. This is a known issue - EGR Valve Differential Pressure Sensor. This is a known (and common) issue. This should be a recall and not an extended warranty item.

Electronic rear view mirror flickers and goes blank. Cannot see traffic behind me. Talked with other owners who have confirmed similar issues. No warning prior to failure.

After starting the vehicle I noticed an unusual whine. After a few seconds of idling I noticed that it smelled like something was on fire. I turned off the vehicle and began looking for smoke. I did not find it. After a little research I discovered that it is a very well known failure that the Balmar alternator on Winnebago EKKOs fails catastrophically, sometimes catching on fire. I followed instructions to disable the Balmar. I let the vehicle cool completely. I restarted the vehicle and let it idle for a long while and the whine and the smell never returned. I used the Lithionics app to confirm that the batteries were not being charged while the engine was idling.

I am the owner of a 2012 Winnebago Tour on a Freightliner chassis. A 4 in 1 gauge on the dash, part number W22-00013-022, developed a crack in the housing, resulting in a considerable air leak. My service center advised me the part is unavailable, anywhere, at any price. I called the FCCC support line and was told the part is no longer manufactured. Alternate part numbers are likewise no longer manufactured. The FCCC advisor told me their is no known solution to this issue. I am certain the coach wouldn't pass a DOT inspection and would be placed out of service if it were a commercial vehicle. I understand this is not an uncommon problem. I would think this is a safety issue based on the fact that the sudden loss of air pleasure could result in diminished braking.

The contact owns a 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the awning deployed independently, and two huge metal pieces fell off the vehicle. The failure reoccurred on several occasions. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V695000 (Structure, Equipment); however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the vehicle was serviced under an unknown recall; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F53 Winnebago RV. The contact stated that the front hood latch had detached, but the secondary hood latch was operational, securely keeping the hood closed. The hood was previously glued, but the failure recurred. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was contacted and declined to repair the vehicle due to concerns of not being reimbursed for the repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to another dealer; however, the other dealer was very far away. The failure mileage was approximately 13,600.
