    THE BRAKES BECAME SPONGY AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. THE STOPPING DISTANCE INCREASED DRAMATICALLY. I COULD SMELL THE HOT BRAKE FLUID. THE BRAKE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON.
