  • 2023 FORD ESCAPE
    - Woodstock, CT

About a month ago, my vehicles dash lit up and the car told me to shut it off. I had it towed to the dealership who then completed module updates and said I was all set. 20 minutes after picking it up, all of the lights came back on the dash and I brought it back. They again completed some kind of update with little to no information on what they did or the steps they took. Once again, I picked up my vehicle and immediately had a lit up dash. It was brought back and they had my car for 2 weeks before installing a new module. After picking up my car, I again dealt with lights on my dash, but this time one in particular. I had a notice to “Service Advancetrac” and a notification on my Ford app about Powertrain Failure.

    - Bentonville , AR

Engine overheated and dash warning light did not illuminate until coolant was completely overheated. i followed the light, pulled off the road and let the engine idle until the light when away as directed and proceeded to drive approx 10 miles total distance to work from first warning light to full engine failure with electrical system failure due to being melted and three of my cylinders were misfiring. Audi states i need a full engine replacement at my expense and is not taking ownership of failed warning system. Engine for car quoted 25-30k for replacement. total car value with approx. 80k miles is 17k. Absolutely ridiculous.

    - LAKE ELSINORE, CA

I have warnings on my dash board alerting of a brake system failure. I received notice of the safety recall more than 18 months ago and have followed up several times. I have been told there is no remedy and if I would like to pay to fix the issue I can and then submit for possible reimbursement. I verified the suspect part is/was available at the local dealership but they refused to remedy the safety recall. I purchased the truck at the dealership I met with but they have no direction from Chrysler so the vehicle owner must pay to resolve the defect. I believe the recall was issued in Dec 2024. Chrysler and their dealers must act on the recall allowing more than 18 months to elapse with out any follow on notices or instructions with a a firm remedy is unacceptable. I request a scheduled date to have the suspected parts replaced and correction verified at no cost to me/the owner within 15 days of this notice.
