BRIDGESTONE ALENZA TIRES Complaints

The tires seemed to lose their tackiness at 44k miles. With tread life being around 48% they were deemed insufficient and needing replaced by the tire shop during an inspection. A solo accident where the vehicle lost control in wet weather warranted an inspection. The tires had even wear for the most part, but were showing cracking around the sidewall. The tires were only 2 years old and had 44k miles on them. The vehicle and tires were always parked in a garage and/or parking structure out of the sun/elements. With the same brand tires having an 80k mile limited warranty, this shouldn't have been an issue.

Tire size on BMW IX 2024 model 275/40 r22 sudden lost of pressure psi to 0. I saw a one inch rubber separation just below rim on the car. The tire might have hit a curb at extremely low speed going onto parking garage. no marking of side impact that would explain the opening separation just below rim All warning system after failure functioned correctly. The tire is suspect for this vehicle as the possible problem being on a heavy EV type car.

235/55R19 Both front tires are showing abnormal rubber chunking or flaking off on the inner and outer tread. To avoid a possible failure or blow out, I replaced the tires with another brand and model. Bridgestone will not honor their warranty on these tires and I feel they are at fault. Online reports of blow-outs are fairly common with these tires.

I purchased four Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra tires (255 / 50R 19 107 W XL front and back) from Costco at 2700 Potomac Mill Circle, Woodbridge, VA on [XXX]. These tires were specifically for a 2009 Range Rover Sport HSE. The odometer reading was 105632 at the time of purchase, and the tires were installed on [XXX]. The present mileage as of today is 118233. However, after a mere 12,000 miles, all four tires are cracked along the bead inside the tire, showing the threads/wire. The tires are all torn in the sidewall at the bead above the inside of the rim edge and are non-repairable. There was no damage to the rim, nor any reason the tire might have been lacerated by the rim. The tire failure appeared to have occurred without provocation, and Costco had just conducted maintenance in April 2024. The tires have an 80,000-mile warranty, so I wonder how all four tires have the same issue on the inside of the tire after only 12,000-mileage has been recorded; it has been only two years. If the tires had failed while driving, this could have been catastrophic for me and my family, which could have ended up in the vehicle losing control and possibly loss of life since all four tires are damaged. The only driving is taking my son to school and driving in the local area for food. I had a tire inspection done with Cosco Tire in April 2024, and Firestone identified this issue during a wheel alignment on all four tires in June 2024. I took the vehicle to NTB and had a mechanic look at it, and the only conclusion they stated was that these were defective tires. This could have been an improper service by Costco, which they said was not there back in April 2024. The only warnings I had were the illuminated lamp of the TPMS, the tire pressure monitoring system, and the low-pressure warning for the tire The vehicle was brought to Costco for two inspections regarding the TPMS, and all the TPMS on the tires were working correctly; they could not determine the cause of the lamp. Brand new set of tires. Less than 100 miles on them. During a left turn at roughly 15-25 mph the entire tire separated from the rim on the rear passenger wheel. The tire is in a secure location and can be inspected if needed. This led to an accident. There were no warning indicators such as low pressure indicators. The low pressure indicator came on after the tire came off the rim. The car went from make a 90 degree turn to making a 45 degree turn and cause my SUV to smash into a house. Tire size was 285/45/R22.

Tire is torn in the sidewall at the bead inside the rim edge. The tire had less than 10,000 miles on it and was installed on March 14th 2023, failing around [XXX] (around 9 months of use). It had been installed on a set of Chevrolet wheels before arriving at the dealership and that tire/wheel combo was installed on the Tahoe by Chevrolet in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The tire failure appeared to occur without provocation and failed on a 2.1 mile drive from the store home. The tire on the rim was mostly covered by the edge of the rim and it was very hard to spot visually. There was no damage to the rim, nor any reason the tire might have been lacerated by the rim. Upon dismount for replacement, the damage appears to be a tear or rip and does not appear to be puncture damage. The tire was replaced at Chevrolet and they noted that there was no reason for the damage (and charging us for the failure). The tire was then shipped to Bridgestone and was returned to the Chevrolet dealer and it was explained that they said, "it happens". The only warning lamp that illuminated was the TPMS low pressure warning as the tire quickly deflated. I still have the tire in my possession for inspection. My safety was put at risk because the tear occurred during normal driving and without provocation. Luckily we were in the neighborhood and speed was 25 mph. Had this happened on the interstate, the outcome could have been quite different. This was a Bridgestone Alenza A/S 02 275/50R22 111H M+S dated 5022. Thank you! The front tires have excessive wear with treads appear to be peeling. 235/50/20 Please note both front tires have this issue but is worse on passenger side.

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue equipped with Bridgestone Tires, Tire Line: Alenza Performance, Tire Size: 235/55/R19, DOT Number: (N/A). The contact stated that the vehicle was at the dealer for a service appointment. The contact was informed that all four tires were worn. The contact was informed that all four tires needed to be replaced. The tires were not replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

Tire Size 235/65R18 Tires are under 40,000 miles and especially passenger right tread is gone. Tire’s already need to be replaced. The tire won’t hold air. No puncture anywhere, went to dealership and they couldn’t believe that the tires are so worn down already with such low mileage. I tried contacting Bridgstone they dismissed any concerns. I've been trying to get some help. These tires seem defective.
