BRIDGESTONE TIRES Complaints

We bought the brand new Lexus (RX450H) back in 2022 (Vin [XXX] ). As of today, February 03, 2025, the mileage on the car is 20,125 miles. The OEM tire size was 235/55R20, all the 4 tires were Bridgestone Ecopia H/L [XXX] . Recently, one of the wheels exploded when it passed a pothole, the tire was damaged and the rim was bent/cracked as well. I brought one tire, same brand and size, and installed it to the new Lexus rim. The installer told me that these tires were "Recalled" and suggested to replace all 4 tires ASAP. Installed (4) Firestone Destination Le3 tires in March 2022. All four tires became dry rot in just over 2 years, failed inspection at 2 1/2 years. 70,000 mile tires with roughly 28,000 miles left of the warranty.

I have had 5 tire blow outs on my 2019 CLS 450 Mercedes. I purchased the car in August of 2023 and since that time I have experienced 5 tire blow outs on brand new tires within a 1-year time frame. When I got the tire blow outs all of them were while I was driving in local city traffic. This car uses run flat tires. I am having the tires replaced at Discount Tire stores in California. The tire is the following: BRI Potenza 245/35 R20 95 Y. This incident happened on several dates [XXX, XXX, XXX, XXX, XXX]. I have taken the car to the Mercedes dealership Escondido Mercedes. THERE'S A MANUFACTURING FLAW IN THE BEAD AREA OF ALL 4 TIRES THE CONDITION IS KNOWN AS AMIGRATING WIRE STEEL CORD IN THE BEAD AREA IS BLEEDING THROUGH THE RUBBER AND IS EXPOSED.

255/50R20- I have done every service at the dealership except one (last one). I was told all 4 tires were worn out and they refused to rotate tires, took it to another place and was told the same. Vehicle has 27,000 and both places told me it was very unsusual. Called dealership and they directed me to bridgestone which refused to help as well claiming tires from manufacturer have no warranty. Makes no sense!

225/50 R18. Purchased in March 2024 and tread is already at 4/32 and 5/32 as of Dec 2024 for 2 of them. Tires driven for 13K miles. This is completely unacceptable and unsafe. I believe there is a defect, for tires to be so new and tread to be degrading so quickly.

Two Front Tires 235/55R18 100V wore down to completely unsafe condiotion and had to be replaced. Tires were on vehicle less than 8 months and had less than 10K miles on them.

I bought the Bridgestone tires in Sept 2023 from Walmart. On Nov 23, 2024, I went to Walmart auto center to have 4 Bridgestone tires rotated and balanced. The tech discovered severe bead separation in 3 of 4 tires. I had to buy 4 new tires. I have pictures of the tires with bead separation on the wheel rims and also off the rims.

The tires seemed to lose their tackiness at 44k miles. With tread life being around 48% they were deemed insufficient and needing replaced by the tire shop during an inspection. A solo accident where the vehicle lost control in wet weather warranted an inspection. The tires had even wear for the most part, but were showing cracking around the sidewall. The tires were only 2 years old and had 44k miles on them. The vehicle and tires were always parked in a garage and/or parking structure out of the sun/elements. With the same brand tires having an 80k mile limited warranty, this shouldn't have been an issue.

Tire size on BMW IX 2024 model 275/40 r22 sudden lost of pressure psi to 0. I saw a one inch rubber separation just below rim on the car. The tire might have hit a curb at extremely low speed going onto parking garage. no marking of side impact that would explain the opening separation just below rim All warning system after failure functioned correctly. The tire is suspect for this vehicle as the possible problem being on a heavy EV type car.
