2017 AUDI Q7- Brookline, MA
We suddenly ([XXX]) experienced the warning message: "front right side marker light defective" on the dash. The marker lights are however working, and it seems related to the recall for a software update (Audi Q7 2017). Our VIN, however, is not covered by the recall for some strange reason. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2016 AUDI Q5- Palm City, FL
Back in 2017 there was a recall on my 2016 Audi Q5 regarding the fuel pump. Audi's solution to this recall was to replace the fuel pump if it had any cracks, but if there weren't any cracks their protocal was to just put a protective shield on the fuel pump. Since my car was only a year old, all that Audi did was the protective shield. A few weeks ago, my car started smelling like leaking fuel. After a couple days I took it to Audi since there had been a recall. My car has less than 63,000 miles on it and according to service persons that have looked at my car, it is in excellent condition. However, Audi service told me that because the protocol for the recall was performed on my car back in 2017, there was nothing they could do except replace my fuel pump and charge me for the work done. The noxious fumes were so bad that I could not drive my car without having all the windows down. I found out that when the intake fuel pump goes bad, so does the high pressure fuel pump and both have to be replaced along with the pressuer sensor. This cost me $2,700. After getting my car back and driving it less than 25 miles, I was stranded on the road and had to have my car towed back to the shop with a broken steering rack and a dead battery. Come to find out, the steering rack is another issue going on with Audi vehicles. These are very serious and life threatening situations, especially with noxious fumes from gasoline which is highly flammable. Audi needs to reimburse me the $2,700 for the fuel pump replacement cost that I would not have incurred if my fuel pump had actually been replaced in 2017, instead of a band-aid being put on it, which was negligence on Audi's part. By not replacing the fuel pump, I ended up with a gas leak in my car, my car dangerously breaking down in the middle of the road and having to be towed and ultimately a very costly repair for me of which Audi doesn't want to own any responsibility in.

2019 AUDI Q5- las vegas, NV
When I'm waiting to turn and have to almost stop, there is a lag when I accelerate causing the anticipated time to make the turn longer than expected. Almost caused an accident because car wouldn't go when gas was pushed. Very scary.

2018 AUDI A5- Rehoboth Beach, DE
The Audi pre-sense system will not stop malfunctioning. The specific message is: "Audi pre sense: Malfunction! Please contact Service It is not related to any specific event that I can tell but appears to happen mostly when there is another vehicle in front of me. I have spent over $400 in Audi dealership costs to solve the problem and they have been unable to solve it. The last time, they did a software update in September 2024 and after that, the malfunctions became more frequent. It now happens every time I drive the car. I have tried turning it off and resetting it, but it still does not reset or stop being a problem. There are numerous issues with this reported in Audi Forums and on the internet with no one seeming to have solved their specific problem. There was a class action lawsuit on this, but I was dealing with a death in the family and was unable to file the claim in time. And the lawsuit did not provide a remedy to fix it. I need help on this. Audi doesn't seem to know how to fix it.

2022 AUDI E-TRON- Belmont, CA
I was driving on the interstate freeway in normal conditions when my 2022 Audi E-tron suddenly showed a message "Electrical system malfunction!" and lost all power to the motors. Thankfully I was in the rightmost lane already and I was able to steer and coast over to the shoulder even while pressing the gas pedal had no effect. If I had been in another lane it could have led to a major accident if my car stalled in the middle of a busy freeway. I had the vehicle towed to the local Audi dealer service center, but so far they have not been able to diagnose the problem.
