In October 2021, while driving, the car lost power. Several indicators displayed at the time, including: • Service Engine • Service Stabilitrak • Service Antilock Brakes • Service Transmission I managed to pull the car to the side of the road and restart it, but it was stuck in first gear. After several restarts it performed normally. I took the car to Miller & Sons, they told me they could not find a code and the car was performing normally at that point so there was nothing they could do. They told me if the car did it again, to bring it in immediately so they could get a code for the malfunction. Two weeks later, the same malfunction occurred, I took the car directly to Miller & Sons. Once again I was told they could not find a code or problem and I was sent away again. The third time this malfunction occurred, I was driving at 40 miles an hour and the car began to accelerate on its own. I could not brake, shift to park, shift to neutral, steer or apply the emergency brake. After about 15 seconds, the car shut down in the middle of the road. It could have caused death or seriously bodily injuries to me or others. At this point I had the car towed to Miller & Sons. I am told that while test driving the vehicle, it also accelerated on the mechanic [XXX], almost causing an accident again. At this point the told me they found 60 codes dating all the way back to the first incident, but they still did not know the problem, they replaced the Transmission Control Module in hopes that would solve the problem. It did not. In August, the same thing happened. They replaced the transmission control module again. About a month ago (September 13) it happened two more times. It is still sitting at Miller & Sons. This time I contacted GM for some assistance. I was using the messaging system (case number [XXX]) I was told a senior advisor was assigned to my case and that a TAC team would consult with the dealership to diagnose and correct the problem.... Car keeps jolting forward on it’s. This almost caused me to slam into the back of someone’s car on the highway in bumper to bumper traffic. While trying to slow down the car forcefully slams forward. Other times I have been trying to accelerate from a stop and the car slams forward. When this happens everyone is thrown forward this started happening after repair at Jack Gimbalvo Buick body shop in York. Jack Giambalvo Buick dealership said they can’t duplicate the problem and there are no misfires. I will be calling corporate to make another complaint. I have already been in an accident in this car due to the brakes not working correctly and the whole dash malfunctioning.

The dash warning light indicated the blind spot warning system needs service. The passenger side warning light on the side view mirror stopped working. Subsequent internet searches indicated that the bumper module has gone bad. No response from the dealership yet. Other repair shops have quoted $400 to $860 to repair. This is a safety issue.

Tires are measuring low tread (4/32in) under 27,000. At under 25,000 miles on 6/17/2022, my vehicle experienced a blowout at low speed (approx 20mph), minutes after it had been parked. No pressure sensors were alarming until the blowout occurred. I have a case with Michelin, but the dealership won't contact them. I have a case with GM, but they will not honor the existing service bulletin 19-NA-078 for ANY of the tires, stating it does not appear under my VIN. I'm fortunate this event occured at low speed, but given the quality of these tires, I'm sure others have not been so lucky. I believe this to be a safety issue, not just a manufacturer defect.

Car applied emergency braking when it should not have (and could have caused an accident)! Details: Driving approx 20 mph in traffic on highway in Houston. Approx 3-4 car lengths behind vehicle in front of me. There were cars to the left and right of us, .. they were staying within their lanes. For no apparent reason, the automatic braking system applied the brakes. The four of us in the car were jerked forward. Luckily the driver behind us was not tail-gating, or we would have been rear-ended. Note: This was a National rental car I had in Houston this past weekend. Nonetheless, I want to report this as this apparent software and/or sensor bug seems like a major safety risk to me. I tried to find a way to report this to Buick too, but they don't make it easy to find a way to report a safety complaint : (

When I am driving my vehicle will just stall. If I do not let my car run for at least 5-10 minutes before I go anywhere it will stall out on me not long after. It has stalled on the highway, even a few times with my 6 year old in the vehicle. After it stalls out a lot of times I have to park it, turn it off, open my door/shut it, then wait for the inside light go out before I try to start it back up. It does start back up after I let the light go out but not everytime. I have sat there for 30 minutes to an hour more than 3 times. Now i do not have control of any of the master controls for the windows or locks. I have to lock my door manually now. I was told that it could be from my ignition switch which I know there was a recall on before. I would like another recall for this issue and for it to be fixed before something not so good happens.

I purchased my 2015 buick in May of 2015. At about December of 2017 the drivers HID head light was breached and moisture crept in creating an inner fog and eventually a puddle of water. In the falloff 2018 the same thing happened on the passengers side. I've removed both head assemblies and tried to fix the problem with very little success. Now I am looking at replacing both lamp assemblies at a cost of $2200 not counting labor.
