Driving vehicle when it lost all power and stopped. On a main road . No lights, no start. No emergency flashers ! Vehicle had to be towed to dealer ! Vehicle was stuck on main road in traffic. And could not be moved because since it had no power at all was stuck in park!

The contact owns a 2014 Cadillac ATS. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the "Power Steering Fault Drive with Care" message was displayed on the instrument panel and the vehicle became difficult to maneuver. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the residence. The contact researched and was became aware of an undisclosed recall; however, the VIN was not included. A dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 172,000.

I purchased my 2015 Cadillac SRX a year ago from a private car dealer and of course he never told me about the headlight issue. I purchased two different types of bulbs and paid to have them installed and there are not bright enough Just like other people with the same problem I can't see at night and here in Maine it gets dark by 4:00 and driving at night is so very scary. I am [XXX] and this vehicle is my dream car. I feel GM needs to fix this issue free of charge!! The contact owns a 2024 Cadillac Lyriq. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the Forward Collision Avoidance: Automatic Emergency Braking system unintentionally engaged. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed; however, the dealer stated that the cause of the failure could not be determined. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,400.

The intensity of headlights on this vehicle is dangerously low. When searching for a solution on light, I found that this particular problem was the subject of class-action lawsuit. I am the original owner of this vehicle. I was not informed or part of this lawsuit. Now I am told that it will cost $2.500 to replace the headlamps because moisture that leaks into the light housing has caused the lights to dim. Driving at night is now increasingly dangerous. Apparently, Cadillac has recognized this as a problem through the lawsuit. Loyal owners like myself need to have this problem corrected at no cost because it is a recognized part defect.

I’ve only had this vehicle for about 2 years now. I purchased it off of Carvana and had 30 days I could’ve returned the vehicle if there was issues. When I first got it, I noticed the vehicles gas pedal would shutter a tad while going up a hill or at a higher speed like on the highway. It would also jolt a little while taking off but when I took it to the dealership they were saying everything is normal and I believed everything was fine since there was no lights on the dash, it was my first time ever buying a car myself, and I had no reason not to trust them. The vehicle is now at a little less than 85,000 miles and I can’t drive it because of how bad it’s jerking, I did a little more research and come to find out this is a huge issue with GMs vehicles transmissions within that years range however my vehicle in particular isn’t on that list. The CTS and i believe even a few ATS Vs were on there but mine is doing the same exact behaviors as they’re describing. If there’s any way you guys can help me out it would honestly be a blessing

On or about 11/14/24 Car found completely dead and won't start in garage. Car had about 50% charge in main battery pack and 12V completely dead. Called OnStar service and they had vehicle taken to dealership on flatbed. GM app reports Vehicle Issues: "Electric Drive Unit, Lithium Ion Battery, Electric Drive Unit, and 12V battery require your attention now." Vehicle purchased on or about 8/18/24 and at time of failure car had about 385 miles. Car kept garaged when not in use in pristine condition. Dealer reports as of 11/23/24 they do not know the problem with the car. I have been without use of my only car since 11/14/24.

Head Light Assembly - The dim lights are life threating. This is a know defect, and should have been part of a recall. A class action lawsuit was filed. GM loss, and replaced the head light assembly for the minimum amount of time ending in 2019. My car has 89,000 the dim lights have probably never been good. This should have been a total recall, instead, GM quit paying for headlight replacement in 2019. If you call GM/Cadillac 800-333-4223 they will tell you they quit because that was part of the settlement. Every head light assembly should have been replace, a total recall.

My headlights are so dim it looks like I don’t have headlights until I do bright lights. I literally have to drive with bright lights all the time at night. Found this out on [XXX] while trying to get home from Land O Lakes, FL. I don’t do much night driving but at [XXX] I should be able to see. Trying to get recall performed but keep being refused. McGuires Chevrolet of Newton,N.J. won't perform recall because I did not buy it from them. Had Cadillac schedule another dealer, Johnson Cadillac to perform recall and they called the day before appointment to cancel. Said they did not have the parts or the alignment machine to perform recall. Why are dealers allowed to not perform a safety recall? Any General Motors dealer should be required to fix said vehicle.
