Low beam headlights are very dim, failing to illuminate the roadway, even with the brightest halogen bulbs available. creates a safety hazard as driver cannot sufficiently see the road ahead, especially when meeting an oncoming vehicle. In my vehicle it is worse on the driver's side, but both are extremely dim. Vehicle is unsafe to drive at night, creating hazardous situation for this vehicle as well as oncoming traffic. I purchased this vehicle used, as is, with no knowledge of headlight issues on this make/model vehicle.

The tires that were delivered on my new auto were deflective and dangerous as reported by the dealer on 10/1/24. The tires were wearing abnormally. One of the tires was worn so badly that I was warned that it could have blown at any moment. The tires had less than 16,000 miles. The car was maintained at the dealer every 5,000 miles. I was not notified about the defect until a worker at my home noticed the severe wearing of the edge of the right rear tire. (photo attached). As a result of the warning from the dealership I had to replace all 4 tires as I was warned that all of the tires will end up with abnormal wear within a 5,000 mile period. The problem was inspected and confirmed by the dealer. There were no warning signs, alarms or other signs other than at the time the rotation of the tires at 16,248 miles. The cause in my opinion was defective tires from the manufacturer (Bridgestone ALENZA) TPC spec356ms 275/50R22 111HM+S. The dealer stated that the auto might have been out of alignment but did not find any malalignment. I was informed by the dealer that I was lucky not to have been in an accident. I have photos of the defective tires.

First it was adaptive shifting three days after having it, then it was the thermostat, now it’s needing a new right rear hub assembly but my main concern is the shuttering when I am accelerating. The ride is not smooth. there is a chatter happening when I drive it. It makes me very nervous. I have went to one mechanic to diagnose so far and he said to have the transmission flushed first but it may need the torque converter replaced.

I noticed that changing out my headlight bulbs on my vehicle that I still could not see at night. I also bought a very good brand / new led lights for my 2014 srx. I have done research and noticed the headlights itself seems to be an issue on a lot of these specific vehicles . It makes it very hard at night to see and honestly makes it very dangerous to drive it darker areas without keeping my brights on .

The steel cable coming from the floor anchor to the seatbelt has frayed and broken off from normal use. The problem was not noticed until the day before it completely detached. We purchased the car in May of 2015.

While driving northbound on [XXX], south of Oklahoma City, at normal highway speed, at night, in the rain (on [XXX]), this EV lost all power to the wheels and the regenerative braking ceased to function. It appears that all flow of electrons from the batteries to the drive motors, and from the regenerative brakes to the batteries stopped. I still had dashboard lights, steering, and conventional brakes. I was able to safely coast to a stop on the highway shoulder. I set the parking brakes, put the “transmission” into “park”, and turned off the power button. I then restarted the car, and all was normal again. I continued my drive from Austin, TX, to Evergreen, CO with no additional incidents, arriving on [XXX]. This is reminiscent of the “blue screen of death” in old Microsoft desktop computers — fixed the problem by cycling the ON / OFF switch. Unfortunately, doing this when driving at 75 mph is less than ideal, and is a real potential safety problem.
