The contact owns a 2015 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost motive power with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the lifters and the fuel injectors had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 201,331.

The contact owns a 2020 Cadillac XT6. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V709000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Fuse box got push on by seat clamp shorted out my fuel pump relay and burnt up my fuse box

While driving the dashboard screen goes blank including the radio. If using adaptive cruise control it also shuts off. After five or six minutes the cadillac symbol will appear on the radio screen and the dashboard screen will begin to sign back on. You must reset the cruise control. Everything on the dash is black including the speedometer and gages. This has occurred numerous times and the dealer informed me that there is no recall and no solution to the problem. My son has a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe with the same problem. The first time it happened was on an isolated road at 10:30 PM. I pulled over, not understanding what was occurring. I consider this dangerous not know what’s going on how long if will last

The primary issue with the vehicle is the failure of the front transmission pump seal (part #24225543) and the torque converter seal ( part #242337534 ) which caused a significant transmission fluid leak. THe original repair of the torque converter seal was done in Jan 2024 by Andrews Cadillac In Mt Juliet Tn. Failure to properly repair the torque converter seal led to internal damage within the transmission, resulting in the need for a full transmission replacement. THe front pump seal was not replaced as recommended by the service repair manual at the time of the torque converter seal replacement. The faulty component is available for inspection upon request. The safety of myself and others was put at risk due to the vehicle's hesitation to accelerate after stopping, a direct consequence of the low transmission fluid. This hesitation causes a sudden loss of power while driving, increasing the likelihood of an accident. THere is a delay and then a hard shift when off , a significant bump when shifting from first to second gear and when I stop it feels like I've been rear ended by another car. The issue has been confirmed by multiple service centers, including Parker Cadillac, ORR Cadillac, and Christian Brothers Automotive, all of which identified the transmission pump seal as the source of the leak and the resulting damage to the transmission. Additionally, Christian Brothers Automotive found that the torque converter seal was also leaking, further contributing to the vehicle's transmission problems. Despite efforts to have GM engineers inspect the vehicle at ORR Cadillac, they declined. However, Christian Brothers Automotive has provided a thorough inspection and diagnostic of the .There were no warning lamps or error codes indicating the issue, as it was a mechanical failure rather than an electronic one. The symptoms became apparent when the vehicle began hesitating after coming to a stop, and a transmission fluid leak was discovered during the inspection?

When I am driving the car shutters a lot especially during acceleration. When I stop no shutters but when I begin to go shutters. I have been to the Pepboys where I get my car fixed all the time and they can’t find the problem. I spent lots of money on the suspension system already and still the same shutters. Will Gm find and fix the defect or they can just give me a brand new car.

The coolant thermostat was broken and gave two check engine codes P0128 and P0128P. AC was not functioning when the thermostat was not working, which can be dangerous in summer. It is also a very common problem with Cadillac XT5 and GMC Acadia.

This has caused the safety features to malfunction. Additionally, the parking emergency brake engaged suddenly while I was driving. The vehicle is currently available for inspection upon request, as I have already reported the issue and requested immediate attention from the dealership. 2.How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? My safety,, was severely put at risk when the parking emergency brake suddenly engaged while I was driving. This sudden braking caused me to sustain a strained neck and strained back. I was fortunate to avoid a more serious accident, but this malfunction was extremely dangerous. Additionally, the faulty safety features and the repeated and incorrect engagement of the OnStar emergency system have caused further distress and distractions while driving. 3.Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? •As of now, the problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by the dealer. I have scheduled an appointment for inspection on 10/2, and I have made the dealership aware of the issues through my communication. 4.Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? •The vehicle or component has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. I have only reported the issue to the dealership so far and requested an immediate inspection and resolution. 5.Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? •Yes, there were symptoms prior to the emergency brake incident. After the incomplete software update on 9/13/24 the vehicle’s safety features began malfunctioning.

Engine & Transmission. Do not know if my safety is at risk. Yes, the problem has been duplicated and confirmed by My Cadillac dealer. Vehicle vibrates when engine switches from 6 cylinders to 4 cylinders. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealer. ODI # 11610835

A combination of the lower control arm alignment adjustment bolt, it is just a slot and standard bolt. The alignment becomes loose over time and begins to work side to side in the slot, so retightening the bolt is the only solution to keep it from moving. The main issue is the subframe being made from aluminum and the machined slots for the lower arms, the "ears" for the lower arms are not machined or reenforced correctly which lead to severe fatigue cracks in the machined radius of the subframe. These cracks will cause the lower control arm to break free of the mounts and causing the front suspension to shift to the left or right and causing a crash. All it will take to break them off is a large enough bump and this WILL kill or injure someone.
