We bought a 2011 Cadillac SRX from Carvana April 4th of 2022 later that same year in October 22 the engine lights came on and I had to replace the water pump and the belt twice. I call them in October and the rep said it is what is. Now in January 2023 I need a new engine. I took it to 2 different repair shops, and they said same the same thing I need a new engine. So, I took it to the Cadillac dealership to make sure and they told me that this car has never been service in a very long time. Dealership said he never saw anything like this, and dealership also said this car had problems before it got to me, I have been going back and forth with Carvana with no end sight. I have all the records of the services that has been done since we had it. Claimed loss: $15,453 Desired outcome: Carvana needs to pay bridgeCrest financial the money we borrowed from them. They can pick up this junk car that don't work. Needs an engine It didn't pass inspection. It's been in my garage ever since

My 2015 Cadillac SRX4 developed an issue with the Electronic Brake Control Module which produced the following dash light warnings, park brake, stabili track and power steering alert. I took it to Thompson Pontiac Cadillac in Springfield Mo. I was notified that the ECBM module was discontinued and they bought a remanufactured part from EBAY. They informed me that the part did not fix all of the issues. I still have a power steering drive with care alert still illuminated. The dealership offered no other options for fixing the problem. I believe this is a very common problem with the Cadillac SRX. I believe that both of these issues should be considered a safety issue. My phone number is [XXX] and my email address is [XXX] . On 10/18/24 I was making a left turn out of my development when a vehicle crashed into the front driver portion of my vehicle. The vehicle was going approximately 40+mph. I was driving approximately 5-10 mph making the turn. I was wearing a seatbelt, hit my head on the drivers door jam/window and immediately complained of neck and head pain. No airbags deployed. I sustained a severely herniated disc at C5-6 causing severe spinal cord compression and cervical myelopathy requiring urgent surgery. It was found that I not only had the severely herniated disc but ligament and cartilage that was severely compressing my spinal cord due to the trauma of the accident. I had a seat belt sign (bruising from the seatbelt) and sustained a concussion from the head strike. If the airbags would have deployed likely I would have not had as severe of a cervical spine injury. The vehicle only had 663 miles and only 3 weeks old. The car has at least 21K of damages. The vehicle is still being repair and not in my possession. My collision shop towed by vehicle to GMC/Cadillac dealership for computer/electrical malfunctions. They have been working on these electrical issues for over 2 weeks. The dealership verbalized that they could not differentiate if these electrical issues occurred before or after my accident. Given my serious injuries and high rate of speed that I was hit I have concerns that my airbags should have deployed. Combine with the new electrical/computer issues raises my concerns.

The driver-side tail light lens fell off. I don't know where, but it probably fell off while I was driving, and if so, could have caused an accident. Cadillac does not stock this tail light assembly anymore, so I had to order it online, and then have it installed by a local shop. I am uploading photos of 1) repair invoice 2) new tail light box 3) old tail light (missing lens).

The headlights on my 2011 Cadillac SRX4 (62,000 miles and garage kept from new until 2 years ago) started to fail in 2022. The passenger side failed in 2022 and had to be replaced at an out of pocket cost of $1,536.98. The driver's side failed on 1/15/2024 and it had to be replaced at an out of pocket cost of $2,046.70. I understand that there was not a recall on this problem but rather a reimbursement program. I was told by the Dealer that that program ended in 2020. I don't understand how a vehicle manufacturer, who has admitted that there was a problem with the sealant on their headlight, can just stop reimbursing owners. The best part is the replacements that I paid $3,583.68 for, still have bad sealant, and will go again eventually. My safety and the safety of other is put at risk because there is no warning light or anything indicate to the driver that your headlight has failed. The problem has been reproduced over and over and the Dealer/GM/Cadillac all have acknowledged the problem exists. My vehicle was inspected by the Cadillac Dealer (Smail Buick, GMC, Cadillac) and that's when I was informed that the reimbursement from Cadillac has ended. Please advise if there is any way to force Cadillac to reimburse these costs.
