THE DEALER TOLD ME IT IS MY "DYNAMIC POWER STEERING UNIT" I HAD A LIGHT COME ON TELLING ME TO CHECK MY DPS!! I FIRST MENTION THIS TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID I NEEDED A NEW BATTERY WHICH THAT WASN'T THE PROBLEM!! THERE WAS A SAFETY CAMPAIGN IN JULY 2009!!

Vehicle releases fuel and fuel vapors into the atmosphere directly under and around the vehicle. The quantity being released is not safe in an enclosed space, is a fire risk, induces nausea, irritated skin, and the incident and effects of the incident last for a very long time. This is a brand new vehicle, and cannot be ridden or stored safely. This issue has existed since the odometers read 0.1 miles.

The contact owns a 2018 Can-Am Spyder F3. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V352000 (Power Train) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. Over 6 months ago the front sprocket on my 2015 can-am Spyder went completely out all of a sudden. At the time I was going up a small hill near my house. The sprocket went out as I was going up the hill and around a corner. I lost control of the Spyder. It went off the road. I was only traveling about 20-25 miles an hour. The bike is now sitting in Sacramento at Elk Grove Powersports, where it was originally purchased. I don’t know what is wrong with it besides the sprocket since it went off the road. I was not hurt. My bike may have been. I had a neighbor tow it out of the ditch it landed in. It has been over six months that I have not had use of my Spyder, no repair parts available, no information, don’t know if it runs now. I want to know where I can serve small claims papers for this problem. I have actually spoken to a class-action attorney who will take my case. I have found several other Spyder owners dealing with this recall with no resolution in site who are willing to file with me. Please call me at [XXX]. I just want to know where to serve these papers. Please. I have repeatedly asked BRP where I would file these papers or report the incident, and I have gotten either the wrong information or no information at all. Today I received another “Important Safety Recall Notice” regarding the same issue that basically states the same thing the notice in May 2022 stated. There still is no resolution to this problem. Who knows what else is wrong with my bike since this occurred over six months ago. I am trying to file something here with your organization in hopes something will happen, maybe get the proper address to be served, a resolution like a new part to replace the one that went bad, anything, literally any information would be so appreciated at this point. When making a left hand turn or a right turn at 40-45 mph it starts shaking ,I have to slow down then it stops shaking ,this could be an accident waiting to happen,,,the vehicle is a 2020 can am Ryker 600 ace

While driving at speeds around or above 20 mph when turning left the ABS or braking system begins activating causing a very serious hazard. This does not happen at any speeds when turning right. This has been reported by numerous Ryker owners. I have brought it into the shop and they are not able to locate or resolve the issue. This is an extremely dangerous situation as the biker will lose control at high speeds and potential force the driver off road or into another lane. This happens all the time and is constantly happening.

RE: NHTSA recall #22V352. BRP has not moved forward in a timely manner to remedy this issue. They continue to move the resolution date further out from the original date, and continue to blame a cyber attack on their computer systems that occurred on August 8, 2022 for their failure to supply the necessary parts to complete the repair under this recall. Additionally, they also blame a material shortage for their inability to supply the parts necessary to complete the repair. This is an issue that BRP has known about for at least 2 years, and did nothing about it. They did the same thing with the recall of 2013 RT's to remedy a heat issue, which caused a number of bikes to catch fire with no warning. This is typical behavior on the part of BRP. Ignore an issue, and it will go away. In my opinion, NHTSA should compel BRP to complete the repair under this recall immediately, or require BRP to make a truthful and compelling case as to why they cannot do so.

When making left hand turns under load, right wheel starts to slip, tuck, traction control kicks on, rear wheel starts modulating power with breaking, and then the right front wheel gains traction. this is a cycle and occurs every time I make a left and turn. This process occurs very quickly. Close to 1 time per second while making the left hand turn. It destabilizes the machine and causes partial loss of steering control. These symptoms are not replicated on the left front wheel when making right hand turns. Air pressure is correct on all tires. No loos suspension components noted. As mentioned, this occurs during every sweeping left hand turn.

One of the electrical fuse boxes on the vehicle (right side as viewed from front of vehicle) had water infiltration causing fuses to corrode; leading to an electrical failure at dark, where the vehicle had no headlight, tail light, brake light, turn signals or emergency flashers. Due to this failure I was almost rear ended when stopping for a traffic light. Also the cooling fans would not come on and the vehicle will overheat due to this issue. When I opened the fuse box trying to diagnose the problem it had more than a tablespoon of water which was green in color due to the corrosion created by the water infiltration. I was able to replace one of the fuses long enough to safely get the vehicle to my home and to the dealership for investigation. I had the dealership open a claim with BRP (the manufacturer) who has concluded this is not covered under warranty. This vehicle was purchased 1 year ago and has been garage kept since date of purchase, washed twice and driven in the rain one time. This vehicle has 2,020 miles and remains stock with no modifications. Having no lighting is a safety hazard with potential for great harm, this issue needs to be addressed by the manufacturer. It appears that BRP wants to make me pay for repairs when their manufacturing process is that cause and this is not acceptable.
