When backing slowly down a ramp with a boat attached the brakes feel like they are not holding . Feels like I'm going to be in the water with the boat. In drive the brakes work just fine. Only when going down a ramp with the boat it feels like the brake is down as far as it will go and fading or out of pressure. This happened a couple times before this in June and July. Then I replaced the front brakes. First time I backed the boat in after brake change it still happened. I feel the power booster or something else is bad. It's just weird it is only in reverse at slow speeds.

I have had several instances when it has become difficult stopping my vehicle, particularly under low-speed conditions like when approaching a stop light or while in a parking lot. I have had to use both feet and all my force to stop the vehicle and several of these times was while towing which only added to the difficulty and danger of the situation. I have replaced my brake pads, rear calipers and flushed the brake fluid all of which has not helped or resolved the issue. A shuttering in the brake pedal often times accompanies this issue, similar to the ABS system activating. I see there is a recall 19V645000 which from my online research seems to mimic what I am experiencing but when I called Chevrolet directly, I was told to make a report on this website. I was not offered any assistance in the matter.

A 2015 Chevrolet Silverado seemed to be running rougher after an oil change. When inspected by dealership, Litha Chevrolet located 200 East Cypress Ave in Redding CA, they identified lower end knocking and lifter ticking noise. Also identified was PO300 was randomly missing and PO324 Knock Sensor performance. The dealership recommended total engine replacement, after reviewing the report. The 2015 Silverado is currently out of commission. It is not roadway safe. The Silverado has been serviced regularly as recommended and has not been in any collisions in the past. The truck has had one owner previously, my father, who left me the truck when he perished. I relied on the truck for daily and extended transportation for myself and my children. I have maintained excellent care of the 2015 Silverado with regular maintenance and services. There is no explanation of this issue other than it was caused by faulty equipment from the manufacturer. If you can provide any information regarding how to fix this please contact me. Thank you

The transmission began slipping and failed at 106,000 miles in spite of obtaining all recommended services throughout the life of the vehicle. It failed completely while driving, which was a major safety issue. It now needs a new transmission. After searching online, I see that numerous owners have reported issues with the 2015 Chevy Silverado transmission. There were no warning lights. It began to make a noise and a shaking and failed about one week later.

[XXX]. My 2015 silverado with the 5.3 randomly just shuts off. When slowing down and at 10 to 20 mph, the Instrument panel goes dark, the engine shuts off, no power steering or brakes and almost crashed into someone. I turn the key it starts back up, but have to reset time and date and lose radio channels. Once a message about stabilitrac flashed after starting back up. Truck can be for Inspection. This problem happened 4 times in one morning it is being looked at now on [XXX]. There hasn't been any warnings. It just shuts down. While driving on the highway, I came to stop in traffic. Power shut off in truck. I had AC on and radio on and everything turned off.Dashboard went blank as well. Power restored and service stabiltrack notification came on. This happened multiple times while on road. Got off as soon as possible and took to dealership. Dealership has yet to get back to us. I believe this is related to the two recalls that I had completed. At no point should I lose power in the vehicle and not be able to control the car. This could have been a tragedy if driving at full speed and for vehicle to shut down.

“Service trailer brake system” this message randomly appears with no trailer connected at all, i recently bought a brand new trailer and im scared to tow it since there is no current fix for this error message on the display, it comes on randomly and will not stop popping up and dinging it is a huge distraction as it repeatedly does it over and over, also when it does this you lose trailer brakes which is very unsafe especially in the mountains. This has been a known issue for years that is why i don’t understand why there is only a fix for the 22-23 models. Gm needs to address this issue as there are tons and tons of complaints, it is never safe to lose trailer brakes especially with all that weight you could burn up the truck brakes and cause an accident or if the trailer starts swaying you can not correct it with the breaks
