2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 Complaints

Code p0307 misfire on cylinder 7. Have gotten code 3 times in last month. Lights on dash and reduced power. Less than 50k miles when first occurred. Turn off and back on all lights gone except for engine light which goes off in a day then runs fine. Dealer quoted $3k+ to replace injectors. $60k+ for a new vehicle it should last more than 2 years and 50k miles. 5 yr 60k mile engine and power train warranty but they pick and choose what components to cover. After looking online I see many owners with same issues. Some with hardly any miles. Other recalls done with different motor sizes. HELP!!!

The trailer brake controller goes off and on. A message in the truck reads trailer brakes off, trailer brakes on, check wiring. Repeats every 45 seconds or so. You never know when you have trailer brakes or not. Did not have trouble prior 3 years with a different truck? I saw 2022 trucks had a safety recall but my Vin was not included, which it should have. Very dangerous.

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was jolting and slamming, but the brake pedal was not depressed. The engine made knocking and screeching sounds. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed by an independent mechanic, who determined that the engine had failed. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the contact was informed that parts were not available. In addition, the contact was advised not to drive the vehicle because of the unrepaired recall. The contact was informed that if he continued to drive the vehicle after being advised of the risk, the manufacturer would not cover the repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue but provided no assistance. The contact had not experienced failure.

GM is recalling the Fuel Injector Flow Rate system but is unwilling to fix damaged parts from the Flow rate being off. My Engine has Misfiring, pitted Cam, camshaft lobe wear, valves and needs a new head stemming from the Fuel Injector Flow Rate being off. GM is refusing to support their product. This is a known issue GM is having with these engines.

The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle lost motive power. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that on two different occasions, while in the middle of the road, the contact was able to restart the vehicle, and the vehicle operated as intended. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the transmission valve body needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was working with the contact to address the failure. The failure mileage was 93,000.

My front passenger side turn signal goes into hyper flash and doesn’t work and my back driver side turnsignal and brake light does the same thing, so when I’m turning other divers have no clue that I’m turning that way which is dangerous, I’ve looked online and seen a lot of other drivers with this same issue and seems to not been resolved yet. I’ve paid a lot of money for this truck and I shouldn’t have this problem, what do I need to do to get this resolved without spending my money for a problem that I did not cause?

General Motors has identified a problem and will not fix or replace the car or engine. I have asked multiple times and there is no answer as to when this recall will be fixed. This is unsatisfactory, it explains that this can cause engine failure and still no answers from GM about this. They owe every single vehicle a replacement motor before someone gets hurt.

I was driving down the road at speed when the gauge cluster lost power and reset, the truck jerked violently. A couple days before the truck lost all electrical power (lost gauges, door locks, interior lights, door locks and ignition) while idling.
