I test drove a 2026 Silverado 1500 at Hanania Chevrolet in Saint Augustine Florida on [XXX]. Before the test drive, I advised the salesperson in the rear seat that the Service Brake Assist light was on at the instrument panel. He advised that the light needed to be reset and he would have it taken care of. I returned to the showroom to complete the required paper work and the vehicle was cleaned and returned in front of the showroom. I drove the vehicle on [XXX] after driving a short distance the "Service Brake Assist" light again came on. I notified the service department on 6/1/2026 and drove the vehicle back to the dealership. The service advisor indicated he was going to have his best Technician repair the vehicle. I arrived at12:33 and the vehicle was completed at 12:56 PM I drove the vehicle back to my home without any issues. I left my home on [XXX] and as I turned onto the Interstate Highway, the light came on once again. After researching this issue, it is not advisable to drive the vehicle as the Antilock Braking System will not operate correctly. This vehicle should NOT have been available for any prospective customer to drive on the highway until the issue is corrected. The sales person should have verified that the brake issue was properly repaired before offering anyone a road test in the vehicle. The vehicle is currently at the Dealership. I purchased this vehicle brand new. From day one I have had constant transmission related issues that make it feel unsafe and unreliable. When it was still under the factory warranty it was brought back to dealer multiple times. Each time I was told it's a normal characteristic of that transmission or that a simple fluid flush would fix it. It was flushed a couple of times and it would "help" for a short while. Software for the transmission control module was updated by dealer. Nothing that was done ever actually fixed the issues. The transmission bucks, jerks, clunks when up & down shifting. Lunges forward when almost to a complete stop. Shudders at higher speeds above 45-50 mph. Occasionally if I slow down from cruising speed and press accelerator to speed back up, it doesn't accelerate because it won't shift down from the higher gear it was in.

When slowing down, just before coming to a complete stop, the transmission will downshift, clunk and the vehicle will jump forward, powering through the brake pressure that's already applied, to the point I have almost collided with the vehicle in front of me. This incident has occurred numerous times over the years since vehicle was purchased new.

The engine in my 2015 Chevy Siverado 1500 5.3 AFM lost propulsion, began to shudder and stall on the highhway as I was pulling out of my hometown. Speed limit 60 MPH. I returned home and the flashing engine light came on before I could get home. Sputtering I pulled into the drive but was concerned about mine and my passengers safety as I turned around on the highway and headed back home! This is the second time my lifters failed, as diagnosed by the repair shop currently diagnosing the issue.

While driving at approximately 45 mph, the steering system suddenly failed without any warning. The steering wheel became extremely stiff and nearly impossible to turn, resulting in a sudden loss of control of the vehicle. I was unable to safely steer, especially when attempting to turn right, which nearly caused a crash. There were no warning lights, alerts, or prior symptoms before this failure. The issue occurred abruptly and without any indication, creating a serious and unexpected safety hazard. Due to the severity of the problem, the vehicle had to be towed and is unsafe to drive. This appears to be a failure of the electronic power steering (EPS) system. A sudden loss of steering assist at driving speed presents a significant risk of injury or death to the driver, passengers, and others on the road. This is a critical safety issue that should be investigated immediately.
