    I got a code p2138 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch. Upon doing my own research on this code I found out it is a manufacture defect. And they are aware this is caused because the manufacturer did not seal the antenna correctly so water gets in and damages wires and sensors

    I have had to repair the driver’s side airbag ($700) and now the driver’s side airbag light is on for service. I have not had any accidents.

    Frame cross member has broken off on one side where the shock mount is located. Cross member is now rest on fuel tank that it is supposed to support which could possibly rupture.

    I contacted BANKS Chevrolet Service Manager by phone to make appointment for safety recall on March 4, 2022. Nothing has happened. He said he would call me when part came in for safety recall GM recall N212328800. No call as of May 15,2022, does it take this long to get Takata Part?

The air bag deployed without incident and obstructed the contact's vision nearly resulting in a crash. Due to the failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer however, the mechanic not yet determined the cause of the failure. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure and a claim was filed. The vehicle was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V053000 (Air Bags) however, the manufacturer determined that the recall was unrelated to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 300,000.
