I was driving at about 40 mph and went to brake and the brake pedal went to the floor with multiple lights appearing on the dash including a warning "brake system failure max speed 43 mph" as well as "service ESC". The brake light went on as well as the ABS light and the check engine light. Brakes were not fully functional and were like old manual brakes that you had to press hard on to slow down. I was fearful getting back to the house. Multiple warnings appeared on my Chevy app. Today I started to move in the driveway to clean up as I am taking to dealer tomorrow. All lights are off and the brakes now appear to work. The warnings are off of the app now (curious as to why for such a potentially lethal event) I have screenshots of the dash warnings but neglected to get a screenshot in the app. My fear is that the dealer will blow this off and the app shows all is good only to leave me drive this for them go out again. This is a signifivant safety issue for Chevy (and for my family)

The volume to the vehicles infotainment system was unexpectedly set by the system to the highest setting without my input while listening to XM radio. My attempts to lower the volume via the volume control knob and steering wheel volume adjustment would lower the volume slightly but the rate the system increased the volume was faster than I could lower it. My safety was put at risk because initially the loud volume shocked me and caused me to panic trying to lower the volume so I can hear my surroundings while attempting to drive in city traffic. My safety was also at risk because my watch alerted me to a volume level that causes permanent damage to my hearing. I have not reported this to the dealer or independent service yet. The vehicle has not been inspected. There were no other warning messages or symptoms to the problem prior to the failure. Today was the first incident.

When driving the RADIO goes full volume, then after about 15sec ( and spilling your coffee all over the place) it turns down then the radio screen says restarting. Now 2 issues this is going to blow all of my speakers and no one will warranty it ( cause its not my fault it goes full ON) and the other issue is ... i'm driving at 5am and this thing goes full blast and when your drinking your coffee or anything and this sudden JOLTED IMPACT OF NOISE hits ya scared the crap out of you... this needs to be fixed... it happens like once a month.. very random... but it happens after the truck has sat for a work shift or in the morning but not always in that scenario

Vehicle engine blew up stopped running. I was driving up Highway 17 leaving Santa Cruz heading towards Sacramento when Engine failed was able to pull off the side of the freeway without being sideswiped had to have CHP come and shut down the number one lane in order to get vehicle towed. Was pulling a travel trailer. Vehicle and trailer were towed to the closest hotel in Scotts Valley the following day truck was towed to Watsonville Chevrolet where they tore the engine apart and found the catastrophic failure of the engine, vehicle was inspected by Watsonville Chevrolet mechanic. There were no warning mites before engine stopped working no warning and was very fortunate by God's graces to get off the side of the highway before being sideswiped or rear-ended. The repair took 47 days to fix two days after I got the vehicle back the battery was dead because certain electrical components like battery and stereo were not reconnected therefore caused a drain and would not start. Had to call GM again to have the vehicle towed to Folsom Chevrolet California where they kept the vehicle for 9 days to fix the problem which was electrical.

The audio in the truck increased to maximum volume on its own- without user/driver input. The only way to reset the radio is to pull over, shut off the truck, and open the door. This is extremely hazardous and distracting while operating the vehicle. It is an urgent safety concern for the driver and all passengers, as well as other vehicles.

While driving the truck, something electrical seems to "reset" and upon that occurring, the brakes and other things quit working. This has happened in this truck twice within the last 10,000 miles. The dealership "resets the electrical system" and the truck runs fine for a period of time, but it has happened twice that the brakes have failed while going down the road.
