I was accelerating to onto the freeway to merge and my engine suddenly made a loud noise and my vehicle immediately lost power and the dashboard alert lights began going off to service engine. I was able to get to the edge of the highway and make it to the next exit to slowly make my way back to my office to have my vehicle towed to a garage. Luckily I had not fully merged into traffic when my vehicle suddenly slowed. There was heavy semi-truck traffic which they would not have been able to avoid rear ending me. The garage confirmed that a cylinder blew causing the drastic drop in power and speed. It has since been towed to the dealership to have their service team diagnose the issue after my usual independent mechanic had found the problem.

The rear window slider is made of plastic. Water gets in here then freezes creating a crack which water can then leak inside the vehicle. The water could very easily drip behind the back seat and get on electrical components and potentially start a fire. There are many cases of this happening to other people which can be seen on a google search or a question in a social media group of others with the same vehicle. The vehicle was brought to a dealership for repairs, the bulletin from GM just says to put some silicon in the crack. It can and typically does just crack in a different location. Called Chevy and was basically told we will not do anything unless there is a recall.

Phantom radio, screen changes and saves pre-programmed stations by itself and doesn't response to toch or buttons. When turning vehicle off start buttons stays lit for a long period of time and prevents you from locking the doors and causes the horn to beep twice if you exit thee vehicle prior to igniting start light going off. Also headlights will stay on also until start button light turns off. On several occasions the rear tail gate opened automatically. I'm now hearing rod ir lifter noises upon starting vehicle

6.2L engine had complete loss of power while traveling down the highway. Vehicle began to drive rough snd dash suddenly said shift to neutral which I did. After shifting back to drive I had to coast to a shoulder and wait for a tow truck. During repairs vehicle was returned after 6 weeks and engine replacement. 24 hours after receiving vehicle I hit the push to start and vehicle was dead. Replaced battery and lights came one. Hit push to start and it killed all power. Towed back to dealer. They checked connections and tightened box on top of battery and returned vehicle. 72 hours later check engine light came on and vehicle went into limp mode. Drove it back to dealer. After a week they located chaffed wiring on the harness leading to transmission. Was told it is a common problem on the 6.2L engines.

I was driving with trailer attacked coming from [XXX] , in the middle of the overseas highway (a two lane steet) the truck loss power and stalled and would not start. I was only able to move slightly to the side, with half the trailer with boat still sitting in the road. My family was on board and I am alive and an accident didn't happen. I called a tow truck (took an hour to get to me) and charged me $520 for the tow. The tow truck driver said that he had to tow several chevrolet trucks with the same issue and it was a faulty fuel module. I had a mechanic run a diagnostic and the Code P129F commonly indicates a failure of the Fuel Pump Driver Control Module (FPDM) was the one coming out. I have read many customer experiencing the same issue. And in my case my trucks 3 year warranty expired November 2025 only 6 months ago.
