The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while her husband was attempting to secure the seat belt, the metal cable bolted to the driver's side seat snapped in half. The contact stated that the lap belt was loose. The contact stated that the lap belt was buckled but the driver was not secured in the seat. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

There’s a recall for this exact issue, but my vin doesn’t fall under it. But the issue is the brakes suddenly felt different while they maneuvering into a parking spot or slowing for a pedestrian. Happens a lot at very low speeds.

The noise may be picked up at the back of the left valve cover, and/or underneath the vehicle near middle of the driver’s door. ? This noise will be noticeable at idle, most noticeable in the 700-900 RPM range. ? The noise may also sound like a lifter tick. ? This may also be called a fuel line buzz or ringing noise. • Whiletherattleisoccurring,theS-shapeportionofthefuelfeedline,rightinfrontof the tank, will be vibrating / rattling. Condition 2 Some customers may comment on a fuel leak. Diagnosis that the fuel leak is originating from the fuel feed line at the molded-in clip on top of tank. Cause The rattling, ticking noise may be caused by the check valve in the low pressure fuel feed jumper line at the engine not fully seating, allowing pressure pulses from the high pressure side back into the low pressure side of the fuel system. These pressure pulses could cause the S-shaped portion of the fuel feed line, in front of the tank, to vibrate and/or rattle If the S-shaped portion of the fuel line rattles over a period of time, the fore-aft motion in the line could result in wear. This wear could result in a fuel leak where the line is secured into the molded-in clip on the tank.

While driving at any speed the transmission felt like it was shifting gears into neutral on its own and the transmission has since failed. The vehicle is available for inspection. The vehicle dropped drastically in speed in a higher speed zone which could have caused an accident. The problem has been confirmed at the dealer with an inspection. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealership. There were no warning lights until the failure occurred and there were symptoms 2 weeks before the failure.

The contact towed the vehicle to a used dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the fuel tank to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact towed the vehicle to the independent mechanic and had the fuel tank was replaced. The vehicle was repaired but continued to experience the failure. The contact took the vehicle back to the independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with needing the fuel lines to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but continued to experience the failure. The contact took the vehicle to another independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with needing the fuel lines to be replaced again. The vehicle was repaired but continued to experience the failure. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 148,000.

The car was bucking on the highway it was losing power without notice. There was no prior notice from Onstar system either of any mechanical issues . There was No prior indications or check engine light before this instance. I was coming home in the dark on the highway which was a dangerous position to be in. The car's transmission Failed out of no where! I have had the car 22 months and was purchased from the Chevrolet Dealer.

I own this 2015 Tahoe, it has 80,000 miles on it. While I was driving to work, the vehicle lost power as I was in the middle of major intersection. I was almost rear ended by another car. A few seconds later the car began going again. I had no service lights, no warning lights and no check engine light come on. It was running rough, lacking acceleration. I immediately brought it to my mechanic. They did they're testing and found Cylinder# 6 has collapsed. I was told that I will need a new engine at costs of over $8000.00. I have always maintained my vehicle and it's had regular oil changes every 4000 miles. In fact I'm still making car payments, and now I have to absorb this major cost of replacing an engine. When I looked on line to find some information of this Lifter problem, I found thousands of complaints of premature engine failures on these very expensive vehicles. I believe GM or Chevrolet needs to have a solution to this. How can they expect us consumers to afford this costly repair on such low mileage vehicles. Please look into this Manufacturers problem

I bought the vehicle from Dan Cummins dealership and a few months later started to smell gasoline got it checked vehicle replaced the gas line it was leaking

The car started shuttering and a burning smell occurred. Car was stuck in 1st gear and had had to be turned off in the middle of the road and turned back on. Was able to bring it to a repair shop where they had to remove and repair the transmission before it was Driveable
