2024 CHEVROLET TAHOE- fulshear , TX
While driving, my Chevrolet Tahoe suddenly developed a severe, rhythmic bottom-end engine knock, indicating a catastrophic internal mechanical failure. I immediately took the vehicle to an authorized Chevrolet dealership on May 29, 2026, for emergency diagnosis. The dealership technicians officially diagnosed the issue as a severe lower-end engine failure. They deemed the engine unrepairable and determined that a complete long-block engine replacement is required. As of today, July 6, 2026, the vehicle has been sitting at the dealership for over 5 weeks and has yet to be fixed. The prolonged delay and sudden mechanical failure present a severe safety hazard, leaving me without a vehicle due to known GM manufacturing defects currently under NHTSA investigation. This report is being filed to document the failure of the 6.2L engine lower end, the necessity of a full long-block replacement, and the ongoing repair delay.

2021 CHEVROLET COLORADO- Huntsville, AL
While driving on the parkway, the engine revved, and then the brakes became hard as a brick. The truck was unable to be stopped. There were no warning lamps or indications there was a problem, it happened suddenly and immediately. Other drivers' and my own safety was at risk because I could not stop the truck. Here is the diagnosis from the GM service center where it was towed to: "After the removal of the valve cover, the tech found the pump in pieces, and the end of the exhaust camshaft was damaged, as presented in the photos. The quote attached depicts all that is being replaced with this repair." The is a know and acknowledged GM defect that has affected well over 3 million vehicles to date. There was a recall issued for some models, but not the Chevrolet Colorado. There are many reports online of other Colorado owners having the exact brake vacuum pump failure, resulting in damage to the camshaft. There is also a class action lawsuit filed in Michigan in early 2026, involving the same brake vacuum pump failure, for some of the models that were not included in the recall. This is an extremely dangerous mechanical failure that GM is aware of.

2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- Baudette , MN
At 144k I had to replace the passenger lifters because cylender 8 (linked to AFM) was stuck. I got that repaired. At 147k I had to get my passenger side lifters replaced again. 2 months later at about 152k I had to replace drivers side lifters. At this point 152k ive had all lifters replaced. Passenger side twice. Now at 157k my bottom end is bad. I was driving and boom no power. That could of been bad. Ive spent so god damn much money on this truck due to the AFM. Its ridiculous. Now I have to spend 8k on a new engine. Ive spent a total of 12k in repairs to this truck. There has to be something done to compensate. Because of your guyses shitty engineering im going into debt. Its insane

2018 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- Des Moines, IA
While pulling car trailer down the interstate on 6-27-26 at 70mph, my Free Country ST205/75R16 D106 10 ply trailer tire with less than 200 miles on it blew out. This was the spare for 2 years and has 9/32 tread depth on it still. I recently this spring rotated it to the LR of the trailer. Pieces of the tire blew onto and hit a passing SUV. Luckily nobody was hurt and I was able to get to the shoulder with only some fender damage. The tire was changed and with research I found the warranty was only 1 year. I was not happy with this, but moved on and bought another tire to replace it. Yesterday 7-4-26 I pulled the same trailer and upon arriving to my destination noticed another one of the tires that was purchased at the same time is separated badly all the way around and is on the verge of blowing out. This tire has been on the trailer since I bought the set of tires new, and has just under 8/32 tread left. These tires are under 3 years old, and used well under weight capacity. I keep them aired up near the max to save gas, and check them regularly. I cannot be the only one having problems if 2 out of the 5 I bought are coming apart already. Ultimately these are a safety hazard. If that had been a motorcycle beside me, or a large enough chunk flew off. Someone could have been killed. Pics available upon request.

2014 CHEVROLET SPARK- Charlotte , NC
The date was XXX there was a recall on the transmission for my 2014 Chevrolet Spark I took my car to Ben Mynatt [XXX]. They check my car and told me that my car transmission was effected and that they put an order for a new transmission. They called me the next day to bring the car in which I did, they gave me a loaner. On XXX they called me and told me my car was ready and that I can come and pick it up which I did. In 2021 I took the car back to Ben Mynatt asked them to check the transmission because it didn’t drive right they checked it out again they said it was good. On the 1st transmission I had 84,278 miles, ON 07-01-2026 took it to PARK CHEVROLET to get checked to find out I got to get a replacement transmission per special policy #XXX. The miles on my car is 144,778. So this second transmission only have 60,500 on it. Now Ben Mynatt want me to pay $4000.00 to get another transmission they told me that this transmission was new, now they say it was refurbished. I would like to have an replacement at no cost they was wrong on this matter. The teach that worked on my car name Paul Briggs #XXX. I went to Ben Mynatt and talked with Kimberly Brim Service Manager she is the one that told me it was a three year warranty and that I have to buy another transmission. I feel I should have to since this is the second transmission I have a feeling that this transmission was not good either. 2019 CHEVROLET COLORADO- Scottsdale, AZ
VIN: [XXX]. 2019 Chevy Colorado, ~115,000 mi. FAILED COMPONENT: Vacuum pump failed internally; debris damaged the exhaust camshaft. Pump is cam-driven with no shear pin, so seizure cuts brake assist AND sends metal debris into the engine. Truck/parts are at Chapman Chevrolet, Tempe AZ, available for inspection. SAFETY RISK: On XXX, brake pedal suddenly lost assist while my son merged onto XXX from [XXX]. Pedal effort/stopping distance increased with no warning - high risk of collision merging into highway traffic. CONFIRMED BY DEALER: Yes. Chapman Chevrolet confirmed vacuum pump failure and camshaft damage, consistent with GM TSB 21-NA-268 (drive-lug failure). OTHER INSPECTIONS: Dealer only so far; not yet by GM, police, or insurance. Available if needed. PRIOR SYMPTOMS: None. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to the sudden brake assist failure on 7/1/26. This is a known failure mode on GM's cam-driven vacuum pump (TSB 21-NA-268; Special Coverage XXX covers 2014-2017 trucks/SUVs but not this 2019 Colorado despite same design). Requesting investigation into whether this is an unaddressed defect on 2018-2019+ Colorado/Canyon 2.5L trucks, and whether recall/extended coverage is warranted. 2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- Parrish, FL
Truck continues to shutter after having the torque converter replaced and the 2nd injector replaced. Been in the shop several times over the last few years, and still giving warnings on the dash saying, reduce acceleration drive safely. Feel like we just got a terrible vehicle. Almost paid off, and it’s just unreliable. Sadly we need this truck every single day, and the local dealerships have now pushed the problem out so far that we’re passed out 60k warranty period.

2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- Parrish, FL
Truck stutters and idles terrible. Vehicle warning light keeps saying, reduce acceleration and drive safely. Two years ago an injector went bad, and it was fixed. 6 months ago, we had it in the shop, of course still under the 60k mile warranty. Said it was fixed, it wasn’t. Just had it back there, and they replaced the the torque converter. Shaking stopped for a month. Now it is even worse. Believe it is faulty injectors. Sadly, we’re not passed the 60k warranty period and feel unsafe driving our truck which we need every single day. Truck is nearly paid off and feel like we got jipped as this truck continues to have problems after problems

The electronic brake control module causes the car to no start and goes into limp mode. Cuts off the power to every system in the entire dashboard including the transmission making the car very dangerous to drive.
