The turn signal has an intermittent condition. When I put the right turn signal indicator on to signal a right turn, after the turn is completed and the turn signal stick returns to the off position my left turn signal with signal a left turn flashing approximately 2-3 times before turning off. I took it to the local Chevrolet dealer maintenance shop and they told me the replaced the turn signal stick, however a few days later the same problem occurred again. I have also learned online that other owners have had the same issue with their Colorado pickup trucks also.

Verified customers cpncern of cylinder 3 misfire and low compression. Inspected cylinder 3 sing a borescope and found excessive oil on top of the piston and on the cylinder walls. There are marks from loose carbon debris damaged the cylinder wall. Upon further inspection the oil looks to be coming from the valve seals. Recommend replacement of the long block assembly to correct these conditions. --Cody Glasscock, Ford Lincoln of Morgantown

  • 2018 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE
    - Sour Lake, TX

Vehicle shudders when driving between 18mph and 40mph. Brought into dealership, was told that the Torque Converter is coming apart, and that it would require an entire Transmission replacement. This vehicle has been immaculately maintained, and only has 34745 miles on it. There is no reason that a main component of a powertrain should fail at such a low milage. I was told that the Warranty only convers the part for 5 years regardless of the low milage. Was quoted $8500 (at a discount) for the repair required to make the vehicle road worthy. Just to be clear, this is a one owner, garage kept vehicle that averaged less than 5000 miles a year, with a flawless service record. This is 100% a manufacturing issue.

  • 2017 CHEVROLET VOLT
    - Spotsylvania, VA

While driving at highway speeds over 100 miles away from home with my child in the vehicle, the car experienced a sudden, catastrophic loss of propulsion power and entered 'Propulsion Power Reduced' mode, dropping vehicle speed immediately and creating an extreme hazard with high-speed highway traffic. A full computer scan revealed active diagnostic codes U2603 through U2624, confirming an internal hardware communication failure of the Battery Energy Control Module (BECM). This matches GM Technical Service Bulletin 18-NA-261. The vehicle has over 150,000 miles, but I have only owned the car since January. This is a known, systemic manufacturing defect (cracked internal circuit board solder joints) that creates a critical safety liability regardless of vehicle mileage. GM has refused to remedy the safety defect due to the mileage limit.
