Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated that while purchasing an aftermarket warranty coverage, the warranty company informed the contact that there was a mileage discrepancy based on the Carfax report. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 123,959; however, the Carfax report listed the mileage at 129,000 one month prior to the purchase.

There has been no accident to report. My check engine light comes on periodically and will remain on for a lengthy time. It is the light that looks like a water spigot. When I have it checked they say it’s either the “Turbo” or “Air Filter” . I can. It get a clear answer as to what it is and why it comes on or how to fix the problem. My car is actually a 2016 Chevy Cruze Premier but that’s not an option to choose.

I brought my vehicle into Chevrolet due to my vehicle locking down and thinking the vehicle is being stolen. They told me that the side module malfunctions due to rain and weather conditions. He then says the part is on back order for possibly 12 months or greater! I drive for my job and blinkers and everything safety shuts down to make It unsafe to sell or be driven. I am at a loss to know how to proceed. I will be contacting the minnesota Attorney General as well. Help please

2021 CHEVROLET TAHOE- Lake Hughes, CA
The component at issue is the engine, which suffered a sudden and catastrophic failure due to unknown causes. At no time prior to this incident were there any warnings, symptoms, or indications of an underlying mechanical defect that would have allowed for preventative action. While operating the vehicle on the highway with my family present, multiple warning indicators activated simultaneously, including a blinking check engine light, traction control light, ESC warning, and a forward collision warning. Immediately thereafter, the vehicle experienced a rapid and significant loss of power accompanied by a loud and persistent engine knocking noise, rendering the vehicle unsafe to operate and placing the occupants at risk. It is important to emphasize that traction control and ESC systems are not causally related to an engine misfire condition, further supporting that this event was abrupt and not part of a progressive or diagnosable issue. A diagnostic scan performed at that time identified a misfire in cylinder 1. Upon delivery of the vehicle to the dealership for inspection, it was determined that the engine had suffered complete internal failure and was deemed “blown.” This finding confirms the occurrence of a catastrophic mechanical breakdown. Based on the sudden onset, absence of prior warning, and severity of the failure, there is no reasonable basis to attribute this condition to normal wear and tear, operator misuse, or neglect. Rather, the facts support the conclusion that this was the result of a latent defect or internal mechanical failure beyond the operator’s control. Accordingly, this matter should be addressed under applicable warranty coverage or consumer protection standards.

OnStar Module failure. This did not trigger any type of notification. I had to make several phone calls to OnStar to determine I would need to schedule a service appointment for a technician to look at the vehicle. After inspection it was noted that the OnStar Module is not working and will need to be replaced. Upon ordering the part I was informed it is on backorder with no delivery time noted. If I were to get into a crash OnStar would not have triggered a call to first responders for my safety - which is a service that I pay for. No warning lights appeared and the the OnStar button still shows "green" as in active service.

2021 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- White House, TN
On January 2, 2026, I brought my vehicle in for service to replace the upper and lower ball joints, as well as the control arms. I retrieved the vehicle from the repair shop on [XXX] and departed the same day for travel to Mississippi. Later that evening, while traveling southbound on [XXX] near Columbia, Tennessee, I stopped at [XXX]. Upon re-entering the highway and accelerating to merge into traffic, the vehicle began shifting through gears abnormally. While in approximately 6th gear at around 2,900 RPM, a loud banging noise occurred, followed immediately by a significant loss of engine power. At the same time, the check engine light illuminated. Due to the sudden and unexpected loss of power while actively merging into highway traffic, I was nearly rear-ended by another vehicle. I was forced to take immediate evasive action and pull onto the shoulder to avoid a collision. This incident created a highly dangerous situation not only for myself but for surrounding motorists. This lifter failure occurred without warning and directly impacted my ability to safely operate the vehicle in a high-speed traffic environment. I believe this presents a significant safety concern that warrants investigation. There have been over 600,000 recalls for this and Chevrolet's solution was an entire engine replacement. 2019 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE- Glenn Heights, TX
I keep having emission problems. The first time I took it to the dealership they fixed then it messed up again had that fixed about three months later check engine light was on again same thing had it fixed for the third time check engine light went off and of course came back home had to fix it again it’s off for now. I’m just waiting for it to pop back on. Second problem that I’ve been having is the fuel pressure sensor changed it light went off now it’s back on. They say change the fuel pump just to see. Did that check engine light back on? When is the check engine light gonna go off another problem that I’ve been having shift to park that pops up every so often at this point, I do not recommend Chevy traverses too many problems and nobody fixing them

Once I turn the vehicle off, there is a loud sound coming from the engine area that sounds like a fan. Then the first incident of the fan ongoing after the vehicle was powered off, a battery light was on the internal driver dashboard and stayed on. The battery was recently replaced during 2026 so the battery should not be anywhere near dead, dying, or needing to be checked
