When applying brakes at low speeds the brakes are unresponsive they sound rough and the vehicle does not come to a stop it skids forward, and an electric low whine occurs. This doesn't happen everytime. I took it in for Carvanas 30 day warranty and was told its because I drove it down the mountain grade while applying brakes and they didnt find anything wrong with the brake thus wouldn't be covered. Been seeing this vacuum issue with the brakes on this particular issue and seeing if I can get this resolved.

operating vehicle as usual, in drive, when engine spontaneously turned off. Alerted by system to "push button to start again" and put me in neutral. Extremely dangerous while the vehicle was in motion. This is the exact same thing I read about in a 2025 recall of 2021-2024 model year Suburbans and other vehicles. Mine is a 2022 Suburban.

    - Toledo, IL

While driving, vehicle lunged forward and engine shut off. Dashboard stated to put in neutral and restart. Pushed automatic start and it clicked for approximately 20 seconds before engine started. Put vehicle in drive and pressed on gas and engine shut off. Put vehicle in park and tried to start again with clicking lasting 20-30 seconds before stopping. Had to have vehicle towed to Chevy Dealership for diagnostic and repair. The fuel pump control module had to be replaced. This was a recall for 2021-2022 Equinox. The VIN did not pull up for this recall and I am asking for reimbursement.

  • 2023 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER
    - La Puente, CA

The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal felt extremely firm and was difficult to depress. The contact stated that his wife needed to anticipate the stopping distance to apply enough force to the brake pedal while stopping the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, but the technicians continuously stated that there was no failure with the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed with an inoperable brake master cylinder. The contact was informed that the brake master cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer with the information; however, the dealer stated that the brake master cylinder replacement was not necessary. The vehicle remained unrepaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,000.

    - Aurora , CO

I purchased this vehicle brand new and have experienced a recurring issue when coming to a stop. The forward sensors activate indicating I am too close to an object (even though nothing is in front of the vehicle), and the engine stalls. Everything shuts off except the driver information screen, which displays the prompt "Shift to Neutral and Press Start Again." Following this prompt does nothing; I have to shift into park and press the ignition again to restart the vehicle. I have taken the truck to the dealership multiple times. After the first two visits yielded no solution, the maintenance team contacted Chevy engineering, and a hard reset was performed. However, today (8/24), a similar issue occurred. While at a complete stop with a full car length between my truck and the vehicle ahead, the sensor warnings activated. The engine did not stall as it had before, but the issue seemed entirely random.
