2022 CHEVROLET EQUINOX- Yuma, CA
Vehicle stalled losing power at highway speeds a total 7 times. Engine light finally came on stating that it is a P025A fuel pump modulator issue. This is a know issue with the year and model I have, yet my VIN was not covered under the recall. Car is a 2022 Chevy Equinox with 26.2k miles. Has been confirmed with dealer. Power loss at such speeds put my family in dangerous situations each time. Scottsdale dealers would not make it a priority so I had to get it back to Yuma. Dealer is making me responsible for bill due to being out of my bumper to bumper regardless of the low mileage. Urged against goodwill warranty exception and given no loaner vehicle. Had the vehicle towed to local dealership.

2019 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500- Stoneham, MA
Third transmission failure in 10 months on this vehicle (8-speed automatic). (1) Oct 2025, 67,885 miles: transmission shuddering; dealer replaced the complete transmission with a GM remanufactured unit under extended warranty (RO 240481, Nucar Lannan Chevrolet of Woburn, MA). (2) Jul 2026, 82,439 miles: vehicle would not shift on the highway while driving; DTC P2824 stored; dealer replaced the transmission valve body under warranty (RO 248929). (3) Aug 3, 2026, approx. 82,500 miles — three days after the valve body repair was returned to me — the transmission locked up and the vehicle would not shift gears while in traffic. Loss of gear engagement while driving creates risk of a crash from sudden loss of propulsion. Vehicle is back at the dealership now for the third repair. This vehicle's 8-speed transmission (8L90/8L45 family) is the subject of known shudder/valve-body defect litigation covering 2015–2019 Silverado models.

2024 CHEVROLET TRAX- Carmel Valley, CA
I was at a complete stop with my foot all the way down on my brake, sitting in traffic, and my car started rolling forward against my will. I pressed down on my brake again and the car did not stop. I almost rolled into the car in front of me. The forward collision warning did not sound. I put my car in park and it still did not stop. I then put it into reverse to avoid rolling into the car in front of me. The car stopped. I put it back in drive, and the car jolted forward and the brakes continued to work. I have since taken it in and the master cylinder was failing. My brakes were only working sometimes. I am incredibly lucky that this happened when my car was stopped and not at a high speed, on the freeway, or in an area where I could have accidentally hit a pedestrian. At the time of the incident, no lights have every been/were lit up on the dash alerting me to an issue or failure with the car. The problem was confirmed and reproduced at the dealership. The master cylinder has been replaced and the brake system update has been completed. I want to reiterate how incredibly ridiculous and dangerous this could have been. It is unacceptable that this is not a formal recall as I have been notified that there is general knowledge of this problem. I have 2 small children that were in the car with me and this could have ended very differently had the conditions been different.

2020 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN- Magnolia, TX
There is a safety recall on GM’s 6.2L V8 L87 engine model years 2021-2024. My vehicle is a 2020 Suburban with a 6.2L V8 L87 engine. My engine recently experienced the same failure as cited in the recall, but because it is outside the 2021-2024 window it is not covered by this recall. I ask that the recall be expanded to additional years where these engines are experiencing the same failure as is covered by the current recall.

2021 CHEVROLET CORVETTE- Gilbert , AZ
The vehicle has the dash lifting started to happen a month after I bought the vehicle that a bubble formed and now it’s peeling off it’s a common issue on all Corvette 3Lt’s and Chevy is aware of it and charge customers $3,000 to replace it and don’t think it’s right to do that and should own up to mistake but forums of Corvette owners show how common of a issue it is on the 3Lt trim since it’s leather.

2025 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE- Crowley , TX
This started happening about two weeks ago. My check engine light came on and my OBD scanner said a NOX sensor code showed. I told the dealership and I guess they cleared the code and it hasn’t reappeared but the reduced acceleration has maintained. It was [XXX] I had just go of work and needed gas. While traveling to the gas station I got notification that my acceleration was being reduced and it was very noticeable. After arriving and pumping gas, I started the car and got 3 additional messages. The car aside my brake assist and ESC needed service, my ABS system was off, and my forward collision system was off. While driving, I noticed that the brakes were still working but acceleration was still being reduced. This is an everyday use car and I have a 6 children who I don’t feel are safe anymore in the car. Not being able to utilize the brakes and the reduced acceleration is very concerning especially when in traffic. I have a little over 27500 miles on the car. It just came from the dealership to get the telematics module replaced last week because it went out about a month ago. I’ve only had this car a year and it seems like the issues are becoming more common everyday. I will be taking care back to dealership tomorrow.
