I was driving my car and the active headrests on the driver side and passenger side both deployed prematurely. I wasn't in any collisions and the headrests deployed. It was very unexpected when they went off as i was driving to school it put both my safety and my sisters safety at risk when they deployed. As stated previously i am unsure as to why they went off as i was never involved in any collisions. There were no warning lamps or any messages prior to them deploying.

Drivers headrest jumped apart on its own while sitting in my driveway. Looks like it exploded apart.

I had recently had my backup camera/and radio repaired as they are synchronized to work together at a dealership. On [XXX] the issue has happened again, and it is available for inspection upon request. My safety, and others could be put at risk due to potential collisions. The issue has been reproduced, and confirmed upon the first incident of this happening at Capital CDJR Of Indian Trail, NC whom also did the first repair. At this point the vehicle has not been inspected as it started again this morning. The backup camera went glitchy, then said camera system not available, then went glitchy again. This occurred on [XXX]. This is my second time filing a complaint for this issue. Thank your organization for keeping our roads safe. I was coming home. As I pulled in my garage, hit the brake to stop and put in park. The vehicle started winding up to a point where my foot on the brake didn't matter. It accelerated forward, going through the wall of my garage, through my backyard, thru a chain guard, and into the corner of the museum wall next door. I was finally able to stop it completely by shutting the vehicle off. Despite the speed and impact to the front of my vehicle, the airbags never deployed.

Transfer case failure. Several other owners online are reporting the same issue. Why has a recall not been issued for a flawed part, that makes the vehicle u drivable and could grenade while driving.

The contact owns a 2012 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the gas tank was dragging on the ground. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V160000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel system needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 145,000.

I also have a drive shaft bearing that is completely destroyed. I have seen similar complaints on nhtsa. I took my car into a local shop for both front CV boots ripped and leaking. Upon inspection I was told the drive shaft also needed replaced, totaling over 3000+ to replace the drive shaft. The mechanic took a video of the bearing and it is indeed completely separated with the drive shaft moving very loose. With how may people are complaining about this part, and the recalls on drive shafts for certain vehicles, (unfortunately not this VIN) that it should be investigated. The frame/chasis rusted through and dealer could not raise truck because lift went through frame. If it had not been noticed at dealership, we and others could have been killed if the frame had broken through on the highway. The dealership and repair shop can confirm. The box and other body components are severely rusted. The body around the gas filler cap is so rusty that I have to hold the gas dispenser just so as to prevent gas leakage from the filler apparatus going into the gas tank. The gas tank fell off the truck twice and the truck was towed into the dealer to be fixed. The truck has less than 150,000 miles, and was purchased new. The incidents occurred between 2004 and 2020 - approx. No police reports or injuries, but no help from dealer.

The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that after it rained, the ABS warning light illuminated, and the speedometer gauge dropped to "0 MPH”. The contact stated that the warning lights illuminated after it rained; additionally, the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) warning light was illuminated. The contact had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed and determined that water was entering the ABS module and the ABS module needed to be replaced. The mechanic notified the contact of NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V675000 (Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 11,000.

Backup camera stayed on when car was in Drive, Park, and Neutral. Backup camera also stayed on after I turned vehicle off and opened door. The infotainment system usually turns off once car is parked off and door has been opened. This was very distracting when driving down the road.
