Sliding Passenger Door Lock Is Stuck in the locked position and the door cannot be unlocked or opened manually or electrically. Have been told its the lock actuator that has failed (similar to the 2017 and below models that was recalled)

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Durango. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the battery warning light illuminated, and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle failed to restart. The contact recharged the battery. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with failed alternator wiring and that the wiring harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed that the failure was like NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V435000 (Electrical System), however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was advised to report the failure to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 186,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the headlights became inoperable. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the electrical box was melted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified about the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000.

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V833000 (Electrical System, Service Brakes, Hydraulic), and Emissions Recall T21 Reprogram Engine Control Unit however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Drove it one day and it was fine, then next day I went on my lunch break and it lost power, I pull in a parking lot put it park then tried to pull it in reverse and it would only go into neutral. After a couple times it have went into reverse but found out the transmission has to be replaced. Only 110,000 miles.

The traction control, ABS, and AWD warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to accelerate as needed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who replaced the brakes and sensors. The vehicle was taken to another independent mechanic, who referred the contact to the local dealer for assistance with the ABS module. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the ABS module was corroded and there was no recall coverage. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 109,004.

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle went into LIMP Mode. The contact attempted to accelerate; however, the vehicle would not accelerate above 35 MPH. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic and a diagnostic test was performed. The mechanic stated that the torque converter cultch circuit and the transmission fluid pressure sensor switch had malfunctioned. The contact also stated several months ago the vehicle was taken to the mechanic for an oil change and the mechanic found metal fragments in the oil. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V461000 (Power Train) as a possible solution; however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 101,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that the driver’s side tailgate LED light had become inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was confirmed that water had gotten inside the lighting enclosure. The dealer stated that the area where the tailgate racetrack light was located needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 83,000.

Went to drive my truck to the store this morning and heard metal scraping against pavement. I immediately pulled over and looked under truck and noticed my fuel tank was hanging down and the front bracket came undone. Luckily was only a couple blocks from the house slowly drove back home so I could more in depth diagnose the issue. I noticed the strap to hold fuel tank up seemed fine but the bracket it sits in, in the frame rusted out causing the strap to come out and the tank to drop. Now no options to fix and without a vehicle until I can get it figured out… I did some research and noticed that there was a recall for this and the year of my truck was included so typed my vin on NHTSA and showed my truck has 0 unrepaired recalls but this is a recall and unsafe if I would not have noticed so soon could have been very bad.

Diagnosed and replaced failed cylinder head. Camshafts and related parts. This should not happen at 76,202 miles.
