There appears to be an electrical problem when locking/unlocking the doors, and a loud buzz occurs and at times, the doors hesitate to lock or unlock, which in my opinion, is a safety hazard.

Both rear license plate lights are out as well as racetrack taillight on hatch has water in it. This is a known defect that is all over the web. I am going to engage dealer but car is 5 years old now. Really should be recalled as it is a danger and a super expensive repair as the entire raceway has to be replaced.

Unknown. This vehicle is great if it would stay running. I drive it about 15 min than it just shuts off and won't restart until it cools down . I've had it checked and replaced camshaft and crankshaft and the throttle potionsensor and it continues to shut off while driving. It's very irritating it could cause a accident and also leave someone stranded. No codes pop up anymore but it still has that problem

Driving down the road and when I try to make a right turn the car does not want to turn, it’s as if there’s no power steering. The fluid is not getting to the right side rack and pinion. The older models had a recall for this same issue and now my year model is having the same exact problem. It was not expected so it was difficult to turn into my own lane of traffic. Took it to a dodge dealer ship and they recommended replacing it but since it’s not covered under my certified preowned warranty it has to wait. No warnings no lights nothing but shock

My car is rarely driven, only 40,000 miles. When i started my car recently the brake, ABS light, and traction light came on. I did my research in which i found out that there is a recall for 2012-2015 dodge journey model, my car is a 2015 model but my VIN in particular is not part of the recall

This is a safety concern I have faced on multiple occasions with this pickup. I have owned it since new and kept up on maintenance and recalls. Today it happened again. What it is, the windshield wipers will erratically wipe, sometimes not wipe, not shut off, as well as come on at random. I reside in the wet side of the state of Oregon where it can be super dangerous to loose wipers in a torrential downpour of rain or snow. This pickup get use predominately for pulling trailers, which yet again adds another layer of danger when I lose much visibility of the road ahead of me. The first time this got really bad I took it to the dealer out of warranty and they diagnosed for three hours to tell me it was 90% probable that it was the Total Ingratiated Power Control Module. I said yes I will pay the total combined $1,400 to hopefully fix the problem. At times after this it has had occasional issues. Today, [XXX], it was acting about like it did the years ago that the dealer extracted, what I felt to be good money, to fix windshield wipers. I suspect in the round of diagnosis they may have messed with the wiper motor and made things marginally better for the years that I have since got out of it. On the dealer fix I researched the problem and it seemed to be kinda common in 2006 Dodge Rams at the time. Today I was doing more research to go about fixing this problem myself since the dealer fix has always been unsatisfactory to me. In this research I found two recalls for 2008-2009 Dodge Rams (NHTSA campaign #s 09V08400 & 09E009000) with what sound to be the same problem. Did a little more digging and between the part numbers, the parts appear to be the same between the model year 2006 & 2008 Dodge Ram, 2500 SLT diesel engine (this probably true to other trim and drive train too). Should this recall be extended to other vehicles that also share the same part, if it is truly the same part off the factory floor? I know I fight similar trouble. After filling up with gas my car stalled 3 times within 30 minutes. One time while making a turn and my power steering locked up almost making me crash, another time at a red light and also while idling in my driveway.

The contact owned a 2004 Dodge Ram. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at 30 MPH, another driver in an unknown truck ran a red light and crashed into the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained injuries to his thigh; medical attention was provided, but he later succumbed to his injuries. A police report was filed. There was no reported fire. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was deemed a total loss by the insurance company. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V313000 (Air Bags). The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

The liftgate light assembly (racetrack light) has defective gaskets which have allowed water to enter the assembly. The light now has a short resulting from the water and randomly flashes or goes out. This is troubling when following the vehicle as you cannot tell if it is a brake light coming on, hazards, or what the purpose of the random flashing light is.

The actuator on the left passenger side sliding door is buzzing every time the doors are opened.
