BOTH SLIDING DOORS ARE LOCKED AND CAN'T BE OPENED MANUALLY OR AUTOMATICALLY OUR KIDS AND PASSENGERS CAN'T EXIT SAFELY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT OR FIRE. THE ISSUE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED AND WARRANTY EXTENTED-DEALER CHARGED $155 AND TOLD US THAT THE DOOR BEING LOCKED AND NOT BEING ABLE TO OPEN IS NOT THE ISSUE BUT THE LATCH IS DEFECTIVE. (WE DON'T BELIEVE THIS TO BE TRUE) THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY MANUFACTURER AND WE RECIEVED A LETTER DIRECTING US TO TAKE THE CAR IN FOR REPAIRS FOR THESE ISSUES. THE POWER LOCK ACTUATOR MADE A CLICKING/BUZZING SOUND AS DESCRIBED IN THE LETTER FROM FCA US LLC BEFORE GOING BAD. WE ARE TRYING OUR BEST TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE BECAUSE WE HAVE THREE KIDS THAT ARE DAILY PASSENGERS.

Like the other hundreds of thousands 3.6 Litre V6 engines with the notorious oil filter housing/oil cooler oil leak, mine just started at 120,000 miles. I'm the only person to ever change the engine oil and oil filter in this vehicle. I have always torqued the oil filter to spec (18 ft. lbs). There should be a recall on this faulty part.

The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled and inadvertently lost motive power; however, no warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was restarted and was driven to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with transmission failure. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle has not been repaired. The contact stated that the failure was like the failure listed in NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V461000 (Power Train). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,000.

Car was towed into Dave's Corner Auto Care [XXX] . Customer complaint, had lost brake s ,pedel went all the way down to the floor. We found both front brake hose appeared to have ruptured with a parel split in both hoses close to the crimp of the hoses at the holder bracket area .144,751 miles INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Was hit by another vehicle in front driver wheel which knocked me off the roadway. During the collision I kept hitting the brakes and the car wouldn't stop. I had no control over the steering as well. My car then hit a fence. My airbags never deployed with extensive damage to the front end of my car. Because of the airbags not deploying I hit my head on the steering wheel causing injury as well as my knees hit the dashboard.

While on my way to an appointment it was raining and I noticed my car wasn't handling the water on the road like it usually did. It was pulling to one side or jumping around when it hit shallow water. I turned the traction control off and then back on and that seemed to make a difference. That night I got on NHTSA and searched for recalls with my VIN number. While other 2018 Durango's had recalls on the ESP it said mine wasn't one on them. About a week later it had been storming all night and I was on my way to work the next morning when I come around a curve to deep flowing water covering the road for approx. 30 yards before a small break and then a thin flowing of water for approx. 20 feet which I didn't see because it was still raining. When I hit the deep water it pulled me towards the right ditch, I was able to keep from going in the ditch but it was a constant fight until I was through the puddle. After the first puddle let go of my vehicle there was just enough time for me to feel relieved I had made it through it before I hit the shallow water and my car hydroplaned darting left, entering the ditch, ramping the side of a driveway and going airborne between two trees before coming down on it's front end and sliding 30 feet to a stop. The emergency contact system spoke asking who to contact but none of my ICE was displayed. Thankfully I was wearing my seatbelt although the tensioner didn't lock the belt in place like it should in the event of an accident. Also neither front airbag deployed, only the passenger side air curtain deployed. My passenger side mirror was hit by a mailbox as I ramped the driveway so I assumed that is why the side curtain deployed but the accident crushed and partially removed both my front and back bumper so my 2 front air bags should have deployed as well. An accident report was made and my insurance company ruled my car as a totaled. I told them what happened but I am not sure if the inspected the ESP system or not.

The contact's cousin owns a 2013 Dodge Avenger. The contact stated while she was sitting in the front passenger’s side seat, the headrest air bag was deployed independently. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact sustained a concussion and a cervical sprain and sought medical attention the following day. No Police report was filed. The contact continued driving to the destination. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled. The check engine warning light illuminated. The contact was able to pull off to the side of the road. The contact was then able to restart the vehicle. The contact stated that the following day after the vehicle was parked, he attempted to start the vehicle, but the engine failed to turn over. The dealer was notified of the failure however, the contact was advised to take the vehicle to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000. The VIN was unavailable.

I am currently waiting for a new Instrument Cluster, which is the cause of all of my problems, and which is why I failed the emissions test.

Passenger side active headrest deployed on its own while driving. No accident or collision involved. 16 year old son was seated in the passenger side seat when the headrest deployed on its own. Luckily no injury to my son. Want to report this issue to prevent any possible injuries that may arise due to malfunction deployment of active headrest. Researched online and discovered that this is an ongoing issue with Chrysler/Dodge vehicles and is not covered under warranty. Will have to search for a used replacement part since dealership cost for repair is too costly.
