The sliding door power lock actuators fail. Making the door totally inoperable. This is the same issue that prompted Mopar warranty bulletin D-21-15. The dealer Jeff Belzer's Dodge of Lakeville MN. Service writer [XXX] says that this vin of vehicles is not in the bulletin. The vehicle is in the coverage period. It should be in the bulletin, should there be a fire or other emergency required to exit the vehicle. The safety issue is the same as the bulletin D-21-15, one could be trapped in the vehicle. I think that the not being able to open a vehicle door due to poor components would be a safety issue. And not just a warranty issue. When I purchased the car it had been used as a police car in the state of Mississippi. So after I bought the car I checked for any recalls and found it to have 2 open recalls. 1 was a passenger side airbag and the other was the alternator. So I contacted Moss motor company in South Pittsburg Tennessee and they agreed to do the recalls. After they had finished installing the air bag they told me the alternator wasn't required for change out because the part number listed on it wasn't warranted. So I did some investigating and found my part number to be 7030. The part numbers not required for change out is 7051-7031-and 7170.. It's listed under the NHTSA S68/16v-739 recall. Since I've had the car I have had blinking headlight issues.. I have a little bit of automobile knowledge and I knew it had to be a grounding problem or a alternator problem. So I even added a couple of grounds from the engine to the chassis with no improvement. So I contacted a good friend of mine whom is a retired Dodge Chrysler master technician and he agreed to check my alternator for fluctuating amperage. He placed a device around the lead wire coming from the alternator to the battery and when he did the needle was constantly fluctuating very rapidly probably 2/3 across the entire dial. So there is no question whatsoever the alternator is the source of the problem. There's one more issue I would like to report. When I carried my car in for the recalls to be performed the technician didn't even bother to raise the hood of the car to check the part number on the alternator.. The reason I know this is because he didn't take my car to the shop area, he pulled my car in front of the high bay doors and installed the passenger side airbag.. I did witness this.. But not 1 time did I see him raise the hood. It took me a 30x magnifying glass and a flashlight to take the photo clearly showing the part number on my current alternator that was supposed to be changed. Photo attached is part number.

Significantly rusted out truck bed framing. I purchased the truck from a private seller a couple of years ago, and the bed had a rubber mat and plastic side panels in the bed. I was unaware of what was underneath at that time. On 06/28/2023, I removed the rubber mat, and side plastic panels to reveal major rusting with the truck bed. The bed is at major risk of separating from the frame. If this issue is not resolved, the truck bed will experience separation from the truck frame; causing the bed to separate at highway speeds, causing property damage, injuries, or even death. Upon searching for a good used bed from salvage yards, none exist that are in good condition in a 500 mile search radius and/or they are $800.00 to multiple thousands in cost to obtain. Multiple beds on the search have major rusting/wasting of the bed frame as well. This should constitute a major safety defect with poor rust proofing.

Vehicle rear doorlatch stuck shut and will not open manually or with vehicle fob or buttons. This has happened twice in eight months. The first time, the mechanic was able to manually open it but this time it will not open at all.

The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while parked, the driver's and the passenger air bags unintendedly deployed. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V313000 (Air Bags) and 16V352000 (Air Bags) for which the VIN was included. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while reversing, the rearview camera displayed an upside-down image. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the rearview camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

Front and back subframes of car are/were rusted. The front was replaced last year and the rear needs to be done. I'm waiting for an estimate for that. Pic shows the rust taken by my mechanic 2 weeks ago..

The rear driver's side sliding door lock has started buzzing loudly when I lock the vehicle. At times the door will not open and my kids and other passengers have to exit through the other sliding door. Upon further research it sounds like this is a somewhat common situation with 2016 Grand Caravans. I am concerned for the safety of myself and passengers if we're unable to exit the vehicle quickly in case of the accident. I have had the vehicle diagnosed with faulty door-lock actuator from a mechanic, but have not brought it in for repairs. There were no warning lamps or lights or alarms. The week prior to the buzzing sound I did notice a strange "clicking" noise coming from the driver's side sliding door.

The van lunges the shuts off while driving happens any time any place, just had the crankshaft position sensor following the codes it was showing, and it still does it.

The ignition switch is faulty same as the recall for previous years models. Starting the car happens sometimes doesn't will suddenly stall while driving. This has happened many times over the last six months.
