In October 2022 I was driving down a residential road and slowed to turn into a parking lot and all power was lost. Was able to safely maneuver car and stop in parking lot. Put car in park, turned off the ignition. Restarted car, seemed ok. Mechanic said nothing was wrong. Now it’s happened twice more (April 14th and 17th, 2023). Once when trying to accelerate and merge onto a highway, once when slowing down to turn into a driveway. Both times the van just seemed to shut down and lose power. Steering became very difficult. Both times van restarted and continued driving after the incident. Waiting on word from mechanic to see what may be wrong.

The driver's side headrest popped forward. OK one day, then when I got in the car the next it was popped forward pushing it against the back of my neck (thinking it was 4/14/23). Looks like the plastic hooks, or plastic parts just broke. I'm 75 years old, 6"3" tall. Very uncomfortable. I am very happy that the thing didn't explode when I was driving the car. I thought my 2014 Grand Caravan was a safe car. Have less than 128,000 miles on the car. Took it to the local Dodge dealer in Whiteville today (4/21/2023), and was told by the service manager that I was responsible for fixing it (at minimum part would cost $135 + tax, then installation - OR MORE). Told it was a common occurrance. BUT IT WAS ON ME. I have not had any wrecks, speeding tickets, or any bump ups. Now I no longer feel safe in this car. NO WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON. I would like responsible parties from Chrysler Motorrs to inspect my car. Planning on zip tying the other headrests for fear of it blowing up too.

While driving down the road, my vehicle will completely shut off and shut down. Sometimes, emphasis on the sometimes, I can push my key into the ignition a bit more and it will start back up. I lose all function and control of my vehicle. My dash lights and exterior lights completely shut off. I can't steer my car and it comes to a complete stop within seconds because everything locks up. I have had this happen more times than I can even count. It has happened in the middle of me turning at an intersection and has almost caused a collision. I took it in for a diagnosis and was told that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle and they didn't know why it was doing that. There is absolutely no warning for when this will happen. The speed that it happens at varies as there is no rhyme or reason. It happened when my care had 95,000 miles and still to this day. It happens AT LEAST 4 times a week. I have read forums where other people with the same vehicle have had this happen to also.

the recall that Dodge had in 2021 on the fuel relay switch pretty sure mine was no good when they put it into my car. At times it just turns over and over but will not start this started after the recall of the fuel relay switch that they done.

Dodge Durango Race track tail light. Whole lower left side bulb out and license plate lights due to water entering that area. When you lift the truck water pours out of the light area. Dangerous to drive not sure when the whole light will give out. This is a defect on tons of Durango’s and is a safety hazard to drive. You never know when the whole light will go out do to this defect. Some will get in a accident because of this. If some can’t see your brake light especially at night this will cause a accident! In addition the police pull you over for a bad light and now no license plate lights due to this water issue .

The crankshaft position sensor as well as a oil leak from the motor and has intermittent start delays these failures I found on this sight that affects my vehicle make & model year my engine 3.6 when I accelerate the overdrive doesn't engage and i took it to Nyle Maxwell in San Antonio where it's at now I also have the diagnosis that matches what is posted here on this site & 3 open recalls that suggest other years may be affected.

RAM 1500 shuts off randomly. Many people on-line are showing this problem on multiple model years. The WIN module (ignition switch) contacts fail and causes the vehicle to shut down in the midst of driving. I've had it shut down on me 3 times at highway speeds. I've nearly been hit twice because the vehicle just shuts off as if I had turned the key off. It is a well documented issue.

The 2019 Dodge Charger, a police vehicle, was enroute to a crash scene when it caught fire. The fire appears to have originated in the engine compartment near the fire wall.

Both sliding doors on my dodge caravan stop locking/unlocking. The driver side door stopped working while in the locked position and the door will not unlock from inside or outside of the vehicle. This is a safety hazard, especially while having kids in the back and the door will not open at all. I have read online that this is a common issue, but is not a recall. This should be a recall since the door just stopped working. What happens when both stop working in a vehicle and the person has no way to get people out of the back, especially if it is used as a handicapped vehicle.

My rear sliding back van door stopped working on 4/18/2023. It switched to the locked position and cannot be opened manual or by any of the buttons on the van. There was a recall for this but for some reason my van was not included. The dealer said to have the recall attached to my vin so the issue can be fixed. It is a safety problem because I have 4 young kids in car seats that ride in the back and if there’s an emergency it is not easy to get to them or get them out.
