On [XXX], at approximately [XX], a deer unexpectedly ran out from the side of the road and struck the side of my vehicle. The deer ran out from a tree line that backs up to a neighborhood adjacent to [XXX] The deer was to the left, and the A-Pillar blocked the view of the deer, which was traveling at relatively the same speed as the truck, which kept the deer in the blind spot until impact. Despite the impact, the crash avoidance system did not detect the animal, did not initiate braking, and did not provide any audible or visual alerts that an accident had occurred. The truck continued moving forward until I manually applied the brakes. The deer was relatively similar in size to a teenager, and all though the vehicle is not designed to detect animals, it is still concerning it did not even register the deer, did not do any evasive steering, did not apply brakes when the accident occurred, and did not even notify me of the accident before, during, or post crash event. With the advertised safety features on the truck, I worry that if this had been person, the truck would not have registered the person either. Sitting at a stop with vehicle in gear such as sitting at red light with auto/start off vehicle feels like it shifts gears with big clunk. In addition occasionally vehicle feels like can't decide what gear to shift into causing clunk. This normally happens at slow speed 35mph and slower.

While driving, the Instrument cluster will shut off and turn back on. 1 time while using ford Blue Cruise feature, when the instrument screen shut off, the truck lost communication swerved into the other lane. I have had the instrument cluster screen replaced 3 time and it would randomly turn off/on while driving.

Driver seat cushion. Vehicle has 1300 miles on it. moved seat forward and the seat bottom is crooked which is very uncomfortable to drive now as it causes low back pain and is not good for a person like myself with lumbar fusion. Your left leg has no seating area other than your left leg is off the cushion and between door panel seat is probably 15 degrees to right from being centered. Tried to move seat forward and back and up and down with no results. Took back to dealer 6-10-2025 they supposedly looked at the seat track and see nothing wrong with it, without removing seat you would not be able to tell what is defective which dealer didn't do. Compared seat to 2025 model seat is straight. Reading the internet seems to be a manufacturing defect with seats on Ford F150. Can provide vehicle for inspection.

Folding shifter issues with many F150s. Gets stuck in park or drive. Seems to be a rampant issue. Stuck in park is one thing, stuck in drive is extremely dangerous... Also causes service lights.

The parking brake has repeatedly engaged without action from the owner/operator. This seems to happen at random. The dash warning light does show upon occurrence. There is no known cause for, or understanding of, this malfunction. The Ford certified dealer could not confirm as it did not occur under their supervision when serviced. Fortunately, occurrences thus far have been while the vehicle is not in motion. However, this is extremely dangerous and could cause severe injury or death. Imagine the horrific accident if the parking brake were to engage while traveling with a family of four, going 65mph down the highway. Innocent lives would be lost. Children's lives. It's heartbreaking and traumatizing to think about. This is a massive safety risk and obviously very concerning. Furthermore, the rear brake pads and rotors have already been replaced (at 4k miles) due to overheating, warping, and uneven wear. At 4k miles!? Are these issues related? Possibly. Will they be repetitive? Possibly. Nevertheless, it's too significant of a risk. It's one that no one would want to take. Something needs to be done. Thank you. Ford offers a buyback program, but has denied the request. Ford has provided ineffective and unacceptable responses to a filed Better Business Bureau complaint. Ford has not accepted responsibility for the issue. The severity is not being taken seriously.

Gear Shifter stuck in D with amber light blinking constantly. At the same time, the Amber Wrench symbol appeared on the dash, with "Service vehicle soon" warning message. This indicates a Powertrain malfunction/Reduced Power issue. Vehicle towed to nearest Ford dealer (Scenic Ford, Mount Airy, NC) with about 225 miles on odometer. I purchased this new '24 Lightning Lariat [XXX] online, and picked it up at Sheehy Ford in Gaithersburg, MD [XXX], with 47 miles on odometer. The above issues occurred [XXX] as I was driving the vehicle home from Maryland to my home in Georgia. These problems occurred the same day I drove the new vehicle off the dealer lot. Additionally, the Gear Shifter has never folded down as its meant to fold down, enabling a flat work surface between the two front seats. This situation was present at Sheehy Ford when I picked it up brand new on [XXX]. I have an appointment at my local dealer, Akins Ford, Winder, GA, May 14, 2025 at 10am to have these issues assessed. The vehicle a 2024 F150 Hybrid with under 3,000 miles. First reported engine warning light was on 4/4/2025 at 2:23PM. The warning light indicated that "service engine soon alert is on because an issue has been detected with the fuel tank or lines" After a week while waiting for the appointment date the warning light went off. Then on 4/24/2025 at 3:28PM the same warning light reappeared. Took the truck to the dealership and they said they had to drop the. fuel tank to repair and issue. After 2 days the vehicle was returned to me. The problem was as noted on the Ford dealership invoice states, "Fuel Vapor Vent Valve is leaking". That was replaced. Also the initial diagnostic noted the "FTP would not hold vacuum even when canister and vapor blocking valve are closed"
