2017 FORD F-250 SD Complaints

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-250. The contact stated he was unable to visibly see the camera screen and would see a white foggy screen instead. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the front and rear cameras to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired but was pending repairs. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

Death wobble. Vehicle is very dangerous to drive at speeds above 60 MPH on highway specially when going over a uneven area. I have taken my vehicle to a Ford dealership in the past and it was ok for a few months and now it is worst.

Have experienced a violent shaking ("death wobble") on multiple occasions while driving at highway speeds. When this occurs, the steering wheel and entire vehicle wobbles/shakes and the only way to stop it is to quickly reduce speed. This has almost led to multiple accidents while driving at highway speeds.

Experienced so called "death wobble". Truck started shaking violently and I could not control it. If a car had been coming toward me I would have hit it head on. No warnings prior to failure.

Driving on the Interstate at 70 mph the front end began to shimmy so violently that I lost control of the vehicle and it took all my strength to keep my hands on the steering wheel. I thought the front end of the vehicle was coming apart. When my speed dropped down to about 30 mph the shaking stopped and I regained control of the vehicle. I could hardly believe the vehicle could still be drivable after experiencing such violence to the front wheels.

While driving at approx. 50 mph on a rural highway the front end started to shimmy so violently that I had to grip the wheel strongly, take my foot off the gas pedal and slow down in order to regain control of the vehicle.

My life and the lives of everyone near me were in jeopardy until I regained control of the vehicle. I could not steer the vehicle. The problem has occurred with others employees of our company. The vehicle has been inspected and repaired by the dealership but the problem persists. There were no warnings before the failure. It came on abruptly and my only recourse was to aggressively apply the brakes to minimize the what seemed like an eminent catastrophic outcome.
