The contact stated that after multiple attempts the vehicle failed to start up. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V621000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact replaced the fuel pump electric module, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not under recall. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

    The contact owns a 2015 Ford Taurus. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the temperature gauges were fluctuating. The contact pulled over and turn off and restarted the vehicle several times; however, the gauges were still fluctuating. Additionally, the contact stated that there was a leak seen underneath the vehicle. The check engine and temperature gauge warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the water pump and catalytic converter needed to be replaced. The contact then made a local dealer aware of the failure and it was confirmed that there was no related recall on the VIN for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was advised to file a complaint with the NHTSA hotline. The failure mileage was unknown.

    While driving “steering fault. Service now” light illuminated. Next steering wheel locked up and displayed “steering loss stop safely” and “advance service trac”. Car could not be steering and had to be towed, now shop says rack and pinion need replaced

    The contact owns a 2015 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that the fuel line had been leaking, requiring frequent refueling. The vehicle had been emitting a fuel odor. While idle the vehicle suddenly jerked and the fuel indicator warning illuminated. The contact pulled into a nearby parking space where the fuel indicator showed 20 miles to empty however, the fuel gauge showed empty. The contact had a certified mechanic diagnose the vehicle and determined that the fuel line had been previously repaired as a temporary fix. The fuel line had been replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage 127,424.

    The rear backup camera is showing upside down. The dealer said he could replace camera for a charge but could not guarantee it will work. I have heard of this happening on 2015 Taurus'.
