2020 GENESIS G80- Provo, UT
It is dead everyday and I have to jump it I noticed when I attach a power source it makes very odd noises. I feel the current recall you have on the g80 2020 may be the issue. It runs extremely hot wit no warning lights showing. I have had a lot of brake dust and the car is hot fast. Also issues with usb and when connected to phone it sound like crackling and volume sounds odd unless I unplug and replug. Replaced battery twice in a year

2023 GENESIS G70- Staten Island, NY
I have had my car for almost 6 months and in that time frame twice my car while driving on the highway my car went into limp mode and was not responding. I was unable to accelerate. It was almost like I wasn’t able to control my car. All lights on the dash came on. I recieved DTC error code p061b00. My car so far has 7000 miles on it and I leased it in November 2023. After shutting the car off for a while the car would go back to normal with just the check engine light and and shortly after the check engine light would go away too. I don’t feel comfortable driving my vehicle at this point. Please help with this situation

2023 GENESIS G90- FORT LAUDERDALE, FL
PROBLEM: It has happened multiple times (about 20-25 times since the purchase of the vehicle in November 2022), always while having the engine running from a stop (variable stop length); when pressing the gas pedal to re-initiate the running, the car doesn't respond to the pressure on the gas pedal for 1-2 seconds and usually responds again during the uninterrupted pressing of the gas pedal. It has usually happened, more frequently than not, while turning the car left or right with normal immediate initial response but 2-3 seconds later has a similar type of unresponsiveness lasting 1-2 seconds. Has been alarming to me as in several occasions vehicles have been driving against me and being afraid of a “T-bone collision”. On [XXX] I brought the car for selective Oil & Filter change (my choice) and to address such problem but Tony Vrenna informed me that the issue had to be addressed by “GENESIS DIAGNOSTICS” and I was given the Telephone Number to call and make an appointment. George, from Rick Case Genesis (Broward County, Florida), was the person taking care of such call and he did give me an appt for [XXX] and to bring the car to SERVICE (again) and talk to Tony Vrenna that day. The car was left overnight at Rick Case and checked but George could not document the problem himself and the car was returned to me. I was not advised about any further check regarding this problem as "there are no recalls thus far". I did then report the problem once to Genesis after being invited to a survey but no eventual call back or response thus far. The problem has continued to occur in occasional instances. I have not reported the problem to the police or to insurance representatives. I have not seen any warning lamps, messages or other accompanying symptoms or signs of the problem prior, during, or after the failure. It makes sense that the fuel pump failure previously recalled in multiple Genesis 2022 and 2023 model years might presumably be the cause. 2023 GENESIS GV70- Littleton, CO
Was driving on the highway at 70 mph. Oil light came on, noticed it without any loss of power. Within the next mile the cars rpms started to increase very quickly with little pressure being applied to accelerator and power loss started to begin. As I tried to get over and get to the next exit the car completely shut off in the middle of the road with little to no warning or time to react. Very dangerous. Thankfully was still able to steer and brake. I called help and had the state trooper blocking me on the road until the tow truck arrived. Massive puddle of oil & fluid on the ground under car.

2023 GENESIS GV70- FAYETTEVILLE, AR
[XXX] At approximately [XXX] pm, while driving to Dallas, Texas, the car bucked numerous times while attempting to pass another car at approximately 65 mph. The GV70 then started to deaccelerate. The speed dropped to around 50 mph. I continued to press the accelerator, but the car would not accelerate but the engine was revving (RPM hit around 5000) and then dropped back down. I continued driving with the speed varying between 45 and 55 mph even with the accelerator floored. As I got closer to Dallas, I could get the speed up to 60 - 65 mph with the accelerator floored but then on any incline, the speed would drop back to 45 - 50 mph. I had to turn the hazards on several times as the speed was well below the other vehicles. There were no warning lights. I was able to get the GV70 into a dealer the next morning who kept the car for 2 days. They ran diagnostics and drove the GV70 but could not replicate the problem nor did the diagnostics sow anything. They thought that maybe the car reset when it was turned off. Issue has occurred multiple times since initial occurrence. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
