2022 GENESIS GV80- Kerrville, TX
Car stopped running while on the interstate. Could have crashed into others or others crashed into me. Mechanic confirmed it’s a bad fuel pump. 10 other Genesis GV80 in the shop for the same reason. No parts available.

2022 GENESIS GV70- Baton Rouge , LA
The first incident I had occurred approximately three weeks ago. I began accelerating from a stop light when I felt something jerk. My car began to slow down and it would not accelerate. The car would not go over 20 mph per hour. This incident was extremely dangerous as I was on a highway that has a speed limit of 55 mph. I brought the car to the Genesis dealership. They diagnosed it as a bad fuel pump. I got the car back 3 weeks later (today 09/13/2023) and drove it about 10 miles before I experienced a similar issue. I was stopped at a red light when the car began to shake. The car would not accelerate over 15 mph. I brought the car back to the dealership to be looked at again. I will know more when they reopen tomorrow. These incidents are extremely dangerous especially on highways. I am scared to drive this car again for fear it will happen on the interstate or when I am unable to pull over. The replaced fuel pump did not fix the issue.

2021 GENESIS G90- Goodyear, Arizona, AZ
This is not about a tire failure but rather dangerous mis sizing of tires from factory.I bought the car new. It was never in an accident or had a flat tire and did not have service call until this week at 13000 or so miles.the service included tire rotation and balance, but the service man called and said he wasn’t going to do it because the driver rear tire was the wrong size!!!! It was supposed to be 275/40 R19 101W but was 245/45R19 98W. The two front tires are 245’s as they should be but BOTH rears are supposed to be the 275’s! Clearly this affects handling, wear, stability etc. I’m a very careful driver but someone less careful could roll over on a fast corner turn! How many more Hyundai/ Genesis tires are mis sized? No one checks that when you buy a car!

2021 GENESIS GV80- NEWBURY, OH
I bought my 2021 GV80 used with 15,500 miles. After driving not even 100 miles, we experienced the vehicle stalling and having no power. Giving it gas, the RPM's would not rise and the engine then shut off. The engine light briefly turned on but did not stay on. After the car shut down and turned back on, we kept driving. We took the vehicle immediately to the dealer where they proceeded to tell us there is nothing wrong because the diagnostics came back fine. But now this exact same thing has happened on 7 different occasions after driving a little over 1,000 miles. This has happened on the freeway, on busy intersections and feel unsafe to drive. On one occasion, we were almost hit from behind because we stalled making a left at a buy intersection. I took it back to a Genesis dealer and one week in their service, we were told they can't duplicate it and we should pick it up. Again, I do not feel safe driving this vehicle. There are no recalls but many complaints about this same problem and no recourse to fix this.

2023 GENESIS GV70- Union City, GA
I purchased the vehicle on March 30, 2023, & my Check engine light has been on eleven times since June 2023. I was involved in a car accident on August 25, 2023, where the car appeared to have no gas. However, gas was in the vehicle, and the brakes were not operating correctly as I had to continue pumping the brakes to stop the vehicle. Furthermore, there is over $15k in damages and counting. I have been placed off work due to the injuries sustained in the vehicle accident due to the negligence of the manufacturer & dealer. I have left several messages for my Case Manager, [XXX] for several days, with unsuccessful attempts. [XXX] finally contacted me on 8/30/2023 @ 3:08 pm, apologizing for Genesis not living up to the “white glove” expectation advertised, and then she asked me what she could do for me. The call with [XXX] lasted 7-8 minutes. However, I constantly repeated myself, informing her of the information I stated in this email regarding my check engine light; my vehicle was serviced on Friday, June 30, 2023 (See Service History Below). Since then, the check engine light has illuminated nine other times with some of the same and or different codes. I had an appt to return my vehicle to the same dealership for the second time since June, as the dealership had the car for approximately eight/nine days. On August 12, 2023, I scheduled an appt. Per the system availability of August 25, 2023, @ 10 a.m. for Valet Pick-up. For confirmation of the scheduled appointment, I called GenesisCare on 8/23/2023, and the rep informed me that they did not have an appointment for me in the system. Furthermore, on several occasions, when I have attempted to make an appointment, the system does not recognize the appointment scheduled via the app or desktop. I was only informed about the technical issues with the software application via phone and desktop when I spoke with the service manager [XXX] ) Genesis of Atlanta. The accident occurred 8/25/2023. 2022 GENESIS GV70- Bluffton, SC
Three weeks ago while returning to SC from Fl on I95, the engine jolted, stalled momentarily , and would not accelerate to keep up with traffic. I pulled over, turned off the engine, and re-started the engine. It started and sounded normal, as did the car diagnostic screen which showed nothing abnormal. An hour later and engine stalled again ( in traffic) and yet the diagnostic screen continued to show "all normal". Initially I suspected bad gas, but that theory proved wrong when, with a full tank of fresh gas, it stalled and stopped mid-traffic . In all these incidents I was very lucky to not have been hit by distracted driver. The car was towed to my Genesis dealer, and after a perfunctory check they said that using all their diagnostic tools, the car showed ZERO alerts. I refused their answer and insisted that it be test driven by one their staff. After receiving my permission to do so, one poor fellow drove it to his home, but it broke down well before arriving there. At this juncture they finally understood that they had an issue. Here is where it get's interesting, because my tech savvy son surfed several forums such as Reddit, Facebook and Genesis owners site, and discovered many references to fuel pump failures, stalling, near accidents and the like. I don't know how you rate the severity of car safety issues, but I suspect that total engine failure must rate pretty high. All I ask is that you rattle Genesis' cage and ask them how many fuel pump issues/ replacements they have had over the past two years. My hunch is that it is a material percentage. I find it unacceptable that with today's technology, a defect like this which can endanger lives on any road at any speed, is left unchallenged.

2022 GENESIS GV70- Jupiter, FL
On a few occasions when stopped. Upon acceleration this vehicle would sputter or stall. On Aug. 29, 2023, while driving on the interstate and attempting to pass on the left lane. My speed was around 70 MPH. This vehicle would not accelerate and stated to come to a complete stop. I was able to pull off the road and restart this vehicle. If I was in the middle lanes. This vehicle would have caused a bad accident. As I drove home this vehicle stalled twice. Attempting to accelerate at a light at an intersection. This vehicle stalled in the middle of the intersection. I again avoided an accident attempting to accelerate and restart the vehicle. I was able to drive this vehicle to the dealership, Aug. 30. Since the dealership would not return my calls. The manager informed me that it was the fuel pump. He also stated that he had other vehicle with this same problem. All the fuel pumps are on back order. Also, the recall several months ago for the seat belts. Those parts are also on back order. In my judgment this vehicle is unsafe to operate. Until this issue is investigated by the government and approved to be safe fot the road.

2022 GENESIS GV70- Round Rock, TX
As I was driving, my vehicle completely stopped in traffic. All vehicle functions became disabled. Even when putting the car in neutral, it would not budge. Had it not been for construction workers helping me, I could have been killed due to the heavy traffic flow.

Since August of 2022 , every time I go over road imperfection my steering shakes badly , even though it is intermittent , every time I bring it in to the dealer they cannot seem to replicate it, it is getting worse to the point that I know when it is going to happen . I do not think the dealer is road testing the car , they just plug it in a diognastic machine , my car does not need a technician , but a mechanic
