Steering of vehicle remained in tact so I was fortunate to be able to "coast" to the side of the highway. GMC Dealer has confirmed a total engine failure and stated they will need to replace the entire engine. There were no prior warnings, symptoms or problems with my vehicle prior to this incident.

I had the vehicle towed to a dealer out of state since we were 3 hours from home. The dealer called today to advised the car needed a new engine.
